Wonder if a hose clamp cranked on may give same result? Honestly, this is all you should expect from a newer Chevrolet at this point . Anybody remember the 14-18 1/2 tons with the gas pedal that was so flimsy it would cause huge issues and everybody was shoving paint sticks behind them to take flex out?
Thank you for mentioning that the measurement would be the same even after adjusting. I was scratching my head wondering why I loosened each side 4 times yet they were the same height afterwards!
Good morning. I bought a 2022 Gmc Sierra 2500hd yesterday. I don't have the click in the steering wheel (yet) but i have a considerable amount of play in the wheel. Have you run into this yet? Not sure if the intermediate shaft or the steering gear is the culprit. Regardless, I'll be bringing it back to the stealer for a look see. Thanks for any help you can provide me.
Great video! In comparison to the leveling kit is this the way to go? I don’t want to mess with my front suspension if I’m not guaranteed a better ride. I’d rather go this route and get airbags and lowering shackles for the price of a leveling kit with shocks.
I’m running 22x12s 33x12.50s and the guy had mine the whole way up. Rides so bad due to hitting that bump stop. Hopefully I can lower it some and do some trimming.
By doing this trick you are a void your warranty not a great idea it’s easier just to lemon law the vehicle already did my 2020 now I’m doing my 2021 there is no money loss so you might as well use what’s available instead of screwing yourself
Thanks bro! Super simple explanation. I just lowered my Yukon XL with a Bell tech 2/3 kit w/shocks. The front still sat a little bit higher than expected once I lowered the truck off of the lift. Six turns got 'er done! Now I'm off to the alignment shop tomorrow to make sure she's rolling true and straight. Merry Christmas, homie. Kudos...
Can you tell a ride difference by going loser on the keys? (Less speed bump jab) ? I have a 3 inch lift on my 20 2500- it’s one inch lower in the rear - debating on putting a 2.5inch block in the rear instead of 1.5 to make up the difference or just loosen the key to lower the front? Thanks! Love the truck
Nice video and appreciate everything you did .. and about to do the same to mine. Have you experienced any squeaking and did you grease up the shackles before the install? Thanks again for the video.
I appreciate this video. I sent my truck really hard the other day an accumulated this tick as well as a popped out ball joint 😅 I will soon see if this fixes my tick, I sure hope it does 🤞🏻
