Hello mate. I like your style. Very chilled.. well i bought this rifle today after driving up from Maidstone to buy an AGT Vixen! It is a very nice looking gun and cost more than i budgeted for. But f it, you only live once. Im waiting on a scope so looking forward to trying it out. Very impressed with Crawley Surplus shop. 👍🏻
Yo Bro ✌️ what's good, Glad to see you covering budget rifles still and great content as usual. The T-Rex along with many (most) "Remington" branded airguns do actually come from the "SnowPeak" factory in China, that also goes for SMK imports and the Artemis range all the way across the pond with some "Beaman" models, the vast majority of what snow peak manufacture are rebranded and distributed under a total different label - that doesn't necessarily mean they are bad but we have to expect and recognise "Value" along with "issues". My main advise for anyone purchasing a Chinese made rifle is: Chrono it first (there is many reasons to do this apart from the obvious - which is - before they are exported only 1 rifle (for example) is tested for muzzle energy out of 1 batch! Also, this models main issue that I can see you have explained is "Pellet Clipping" where the bolt is aligned with the breech yet round are not being seated in the breech correctly - or smoothly! Resulting in "Flyer's" The Artemis M30 is a great rifle to compare the same issue with, the main reason for this is the single shot tray! As all components are both mass produced and shared with other models I doubt it if either they tray or magazine was build specifically for the gun - or tested before packaged up! This can be sorted though and taking a metal file and some time or Packers made out of shims on the flip side will work, yeah I know, not something we should have to do for 300 notes but that's "inflation" and manufacturing standards at the end of the day. Lastly this rifle is fully ambidextrous and with that are able to swap the bolt to suit a left handed shooter (or if you prefer to keep your trigger hand on the grip). Some nice shots in this video bro, at the 40 yards range you got a shot through the previous hole! Yeah , i like you're presentation, but not so much the gun, the trigger and cocking lever is a big put off. Also the fixed silencer. It sounds a bit loud, even with consideration of the echo in the range. As i say however, fresh presentation so good one brother. I'm presently looking for another gun , but so many are lacking in areas that would and do put me off. I shoot an hw 100ktwith the Alpex lrf bc 4k, off of the Bog deathgrip carbon, the hog saddle is a big issue when it comes to guns with gauges on the block, or simply not enough grip clearance, on the block. Keep the review coming brother. Its real.
It’s definitely a beginners rifle. You sound like a pro. Leave this one for the learners or just someone that wants to do targetshooting or pesting in the garden. Thanks for watching fella👊🏾
Young Man, could have been an interesting video, but your command of the English language stopped me watching after a couple of minutes. Young kids might understand what you are trying to say but us older folks, hmm. Think about who is likely to watch this video, I have been shooting Air Rifles for years and it isn't generally young kids who shoot. I came to this video to learn about this particular rifle, It may have been a very informative video, but you and I do not talk the same language, look to speak to bigger audiences. It’s NOT for you old heads to tell the truth. But thanks for passing through. Really I’m trying to bring a new generation to the sport. Not all kids like PS5 or Football. So I’m here to show them a new hobby they might be interested in. I might even find the next Olympic shooter. Never know. @@ootahbeefz5501 would you say the P15 is the best option? Also looked at the P35 but again seen mixed reviews. Other one I'm looking at is the AGT Vixen but obvs that's a significant step up in price
Defo a P15 especially because of the single shot tray. My P15 does 5p groups at 50 yards with pellets and slugs but you would have to learn the rifle and get a couple accessories like aftermarket half inch UNF so you can fit a silencer and aftermarket bipod rail
Nice video mate, been watching a few of yours lately. 1 question, I want to buy a Krait L or a Katran NC, which one would you go for and why? I’m leaning towards the Krait due to larger shot count and longer barrel?
good review and I dont think that your groups are like you say down to the setup not being right. I have a Krait L and it stacks pellets and isnt fussy either. Keep up the great content.
Nice shooting at 50 yards mate...but as you said,brand new riffle....hasnt been leaded in and no pull through to get the oil out....well done kidder,just got a AA tdr version and although its a boss riffle.....I'm itching to ge the tactical version,enjoy your vids mate,shoot straight,stay safe😊
watched the vid' with interest, OK the little blob of white grease is to 'lub' the filler probe as compressed air and petroleum products are asking for an explosion (VERY DANGEROUS to you and those around you at the time). Hope this explains the inclusion of the correct lubricant..
Nice review. The manual that came with mine told me bu**er all. Got the Weihrauch Moderator on mine as well. Put a sling stud in the front to take a Harris style bipod. Great airgun though.
I’ve got the bottle version and reg it at 140. I wonder if something was up with it. I get around 11.5ft/lbs with heavies. I do have 3d printed mags but at 30yds they group inside a 5p minus a few fliers. Switched to slugs and it’s pellet on pellet. I haven’t touched the barrel or anything. Personally only thing I don’t like is the trigger feel, needs more travel.
Got the prophet first gen, after the priest, extremely accurate with the right ammo ( QYS 13grn) as for the stiff cocking lever, remove side plate on left hand side and apply some gun oil too the linkages, that'll make it far easier.. They must scimp on the lube at the manufacturer.. But yeah, my early one is cock on, just needs a bit of fettling... Excellent vid Ootah, BTW, yer sound is still a bit quiet, yes I'm old, but thank the lord for subtitles 😂

It is definitely accurate. I’m not sure but I think it’s the Regulator again. Between 200-160bar it shoots perfect. Anything below that and the groups opened up. Only real problem is the Cocking Lever. Way to stiff especially for someone of a younger age
I think you need to take your turret cap off and set your zero stop. Usually you beed to wind it clockwise until it stops. That should then give you the required elevation you need.
It’s a shame that you in the UK have to pay all tat money for a high end gun like that and only get sub 12 fpe ? In the US a common break barrel is about 14 or 15 foot pounds. You have to get a FAC to get a rifle that gets more than 12 foot pounds. I’ve got budget PCP’s that cost 240 US dollars or less that get 27-30 fpe . With no fire arms no nothing. You can get 30 caliber air rifles that can get 100 foot pounds without any fac. Sorry mate !
