This video was really cool! My family is going on a trip to Idyllwild soon from LA and I'm currently a new driver so I was nervous if I should drive there or not (freeway-wise). I thought maybe I can use this as an example that driving on the freeway and learning to drive on it isn't gonna be as bad (since I don't have parents to teach me to go on the highway)! This is a wonderful video btw :) Also watched the 2nd part to this trip and Idyllwild really is so beautiful!

I myself just recently started driving (got my permit last year June) and was very nervous to drive on freeways 🛣️ It took a lot of mental preparation and control of heartbeat the first time I was forced to drive on freeway that too during night time due to road closures. I was freaking out but now I think I can drive on freeways safely. So don’t worry, it happens with everyone and I am equally excited for you to drive on this beautiful route (though sadly drivers don’t get to enjoy much 😂)!! I lived there many years. I even went to high school there. I miss how those mountains lit up at sunset. It's a special place for sure. A lot of memories there.

If you have access to any temple, you can also donate it in the Mandir 🛕 or can donate it to sick people in any community hospital. Donating has definitely higher significance on this day 😊🙏

Hello, I really want to visit Solvang this summer and I am exploring route options. Could you tell me what route you exactly followed? This seems like the best one I've seen so far.
Hii!! I am glad you liked it. Ya can definitely share the route we traveled…..so we took 405 N then 101 N and then CA-154 W. For details you can Google the exact directions from Culver City to Solvang. My personal favorite is the Pacific Coast highway stretch 🛣 So scenic and gorgeous always.

Hint: if you"re coming to Ojai from the greater LA area (or South), the better route is to head north on the I5 to the 126 in Castaic. Take 126 to Santa Paula and exit on the hwy 150 toward Ojai. You're welcome.
