If you want to make money as feudal, make YOUR own faith, have it have comunion, and make it have temporal head of faith, to make the forunder, you, the head of faith, and then Watch as YOUR vassal’s litterally gives you all of their money, in Exchange for nothing mechanic-ly, and in Exchange only for forgiving thier sins, thematiclly!
I remember there was an argument going on in the community on whether Abaddons crusades were failures or not because they got retconned into being part of a master plan
Thanks for the vid really helpful. After three playthroughs as feudal in western Europe in 1066 I figured it was time to try an 867 tribal run, it's amazing how different it plays when compared to feudal, gone are the days of stewardship and development, hello total war. I made rookie mistake on my first ck3 run by starting as the king of France in 1066..suffice it to say that run ended in pretty spectacular failure, so I agree tribal is a great way to learn the game. Great video, liked and shared.
Thank you so much! It is a huge difference between tribal and feudal and tbh I think I find tribal more fun! I'm debating on making some more CK3 content soon
Woah, woah, woah, WOAH! If you start uploading playthroughs, all the out of context shorts I've been cultivating will start to make sense. I shan't stand for it! Ya hear?!?!
You can have 4 Kasrkin squads, 5 Leman Russ and a Baneblade if you commandeered all the barracks and mechanized commands. Attach 3 Priests and 1 Commissar to the Kasrkin and your army can steamroll the enemies.
Surprised the Eldar don't have a mystic/sci-fi music track, the Imp. Guard have that great military track when you play as them and it's kinda disappointing.
Yes, this mission, this one kicked my ass so many times because of the lack of resources, which is actually a bug that happens when you swap races in campaign. In one of the future missions you might have no resources after a race swap, it's a very rare bug, but if it happens you should just restart, just a warning.
Not sure if you are aware or not but characters can be attached to squads, You can attach commissars to squads to help bolster moral. Really enjoying seeing someone play dow
You can't garrison in Sentinels, he meant get some people piloting them. Also yeah, it wanted the control points outside the turrets captured (definitely awful tactical placement hence the confusion I feel)
Ahh okay that makes sense then! I did think you couldn't garrison people in the sentinels. Yeah the control points really threw me off, I figured they should be behind the turrets surely 😂
Many praise Dark Crusade as the best of Dawn of War 1, but the campaing for Winter Assault was my favorite, it kicked my ass because it's probably the hardest of them too, especially the one mission i look forward to you playing. The demo version of this expansion was my entry into the 40k universe too, also made me a huge Imperial Guard fan while it was at it.
I have the feeling that winter assault will be a tricky one but by the Emperor I will do it! I have to admit as much as I'm not a huge fan of the Imperial Guard, I have a lot of respect for them facing off against things like the Tyranids and Chaos
maybe both campaigns of winter assault next ? dark crusade and soulstorm campaigns are kinda meh because they lack any storyline except few provinces and main bases of any race u can attach apothecaries to your marine squads, they increase health regen of units
I am already preparing Winter Assault! It will take me a few days to get the episodes out because I want to do a new intro/outro plus with Christmas... 😂 Merry Christmas btw! (Or if you celebrate something else happy holidays!!!)
This mission was such a cool idea, but they executed it very poorly, the Eldar AI turns off after a few minutes and the Demon Prince suicides into your forces or stops working, while the enemy AI refuses to use their bases to actually build units. On the bright side the Eldar fared infinitely better in your game than mines ever did, they always got wiped in 2 minutes.
Yeah it did seem rather odd, they pushed and died so damn quickly, didn't try building up or anything either. Also I kind of expected more from this mission being called all out war, I thought it would at least push you to wipe out the chaos forces after beating the daemon prince. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!!!
I know you've uploaddd a third part to the series but squads will only get as close as needed for the longest ranged weapon the have. Rocket Launchers and Heavy Bolters have long range and that's why right clicking only gets them that close and the full squad can't attack. Hope this helps, not as concise as I'd like but whatever haha. Edit: You can also right click on things to have them perprtually built, like reinforcing a squad or special weapons. It will keep doing it until it no longer can but saves you micro-managing those things.
Only up to one sqaud at a time can capture a Strategic Point. Charachter/hero and vehicle cannot capture Strategic Points. You can (and should) split your army, in the late levels the game expect you to command two different fighting force at the same time. If you plan to play Winter Assault, you will need to learn
I plan to play them all! Although I suspect it might be painful for me 😂. I think I finally started to grasp splitting up into groups now, what troops do you normally go for?
@@BearlyTactical Well, for the campaign of the first game it's not like you have THAT much of a choice. If you plan to play all the expasion and have fun with the game the best curse of action is learning Combat Stance (one of the small icon on the unit screen, on the bottom right corner of your screen). You can cycle quickly by pressing F1,F2,F3 or F4. Stance let you decide if you want a unit to chase the enemy, standing and be passive, stand the ground or target the building. The other impotant stance is the melee/ranged stance (F7,F6). If you want your dudeds can charge at the enemy and engage them in melee comabat or they can just remain at ranged combat. (you will need to use this, when the game gives you Whirlwind for the first time they are in the worng stance and so unable to attack. If my memory serve me well all you need to do is change their Combat Stance). Lastly, you can put charachter inside other squad by selecting the Charachter and pressing the little arrow arrow symbol and then clicking on another squad. Just play the campaign and try to learn the game. If you plan to play winter assault or black crusade you will needed. I like trasnport my terminators in my land raider with Gabriel attached and then see the enemy force loosing. You will unlock those in the last missions
I remember I looked at the Usual Montu, Aspec, etc. And all of them had a hard time recommending this DLC. For me, as much as a Stellaris player I am, I cannot justify buy this for the price they want it for. I can understand if they charged at least 10 bucks for this, but 20? No, This is a 'wait for sale' DLC. Hell Paragons provided more stuff to do then this. I just, I can't Paradox got greedy and I just cannot justify the cost.
I've personally found it really enjoyable, but then I only really play Stellaris from a RP perspective, meta/min maxing styles don't appeal to me so I can understand that it doesn't hold value for a lot of the player base.
@@BearlyTactical I mainly play in a RP perspective and with friends in a co-op way versus a25x crisis. Just to have fun. And a lot of my friends won’t be getting this due to that price tag.
I can totally understand that, I would have hesitated on grabbing it straight away myself but then I know what I'm like with shiny things and probably would have caved 😂
Warhammer Age of Sigmar is the best it's ever been. No joke, it has surpassed not only the "old world" which is a boring setting of mechanically combined clichés from fantasy and history. But even 40k - which turned into a soap opera about primarchs and space marines. The only thing I judge the developers for is politics. They banned the sale of this game in my region and thereby shot themselves in the foot. Moreover, it was banned only on Steam. Game can be purchased at the Epic Games store to us. Such rotten double standards are disheartening.
I really like AoS as well personally, I never really got into fantasy battles beyond the lore, mostly because the amount of gate keeping prevented me from learning rules/playing. 40k is still my favourite although I'm only just starting to read the HH books 🤣. I didn't realise they had banned sales in a region, what region are you if you don't mind me asking 😁
