~ Digging Relics & Talking to Spirits. Join Steve & Karen Tatro as they explore old cellar holes, historical properties and the woods of New England. Karen Tatro is a re-known medium in the New England area, hosting Paranormal & Spiritual Events and is joined by her husband, Steve who is an avid metal detector and native to New Hampshire. Steve has spent most of his life in the woods of New Hampshire, hunting, fishing and searching for relics these cellar holes leave behind. Every piece of property has a story. A story can be told by the items buried below the soil. The daily life of a time long ago and the spirits that may still be residing on the land. As we explore old cellar holes in New England, we hope to share that story.

I support you guys, RU-vid is a tough place to be successful. As long as you are doing it for fun and a hobby and not to strike it rich. Great find with the lead pewter button and yes they are 1700's before the tombac. We always get excited with a lead pewter button cause you never know when it is gonna be a Revolutionary War USA button! Have you ever thought about doing a wrap up of all the finds at the end? Makes it better for the people that wont watch the whole vid to see at the wrap up what you found. The world has a very short attention span these days. Good luck and keep up the great work!
@@masonmercmetaldetecting thank you so much! We are, like yourself doing this for fun. It’s a great time together and exciting to be exploring. I’m fascinated by the history of places and what may be found in the ground. Sometimes it is many relics and also spirits that are around interacting and other times it is square nails and a few things here and there. It is what it is. Sometimes boring and sometimes exciting. lol 😂 I have to watch your show too!! Thank you for the support!!
@@masonmercmetaldetecting we actually are curious too what they are. We think hotel keys of the Lodge. We have a historian friend that we are going to be meeting up with that may know. He has a lot of knowledge of the lodge
Hi, new sub from Massachusetts here, anyway, the triangular piece of metal screwed ( or bolted) to the back of the shovel blade. Like the channel, it looks like western Connecticut you’re digging in.
@@baystateplugflipper7061 hey thank you!! We are new to this and having fun. You never know what we will find and I get excited over anything, honestly. Each place is different and we have alot lined up but weather has at times changed our plan. Lol we are actually in Southern NH. We live in Antrim.
@@GhostDiggers-MetalDetecting I saw that as soon as I posted. We do a lot of detecting here in southern Worcester county and at our hunting camp in Jacksonville Vermont , good luck out there !!!
@@baystateplugflipper7061 oh wow that’s great. Good luck hunting! I actually am taking the detector out a few times as it’s hunting season and Steve is in a tree stand. Haha
@@clints7834 thank you for your comment. Hard to assess only 7 minutes. It is designed to be a live metal detecting show where we are not primping it up like an episode you may see on alot of shows. Connecting with the property and metal detecting along the way. Sorry not your style but thank you for watching what you did. This is our first 6 months of filming so we take all comments to heart. ❤️
When you find unwanted iron sitting on top of rocks and cellar hole foundations it's a really good sign that it has already been detected before you. Still worth checking though. Figure out how to use lidar and there will never be any guess work locating cellar holes again. We found a Morgan Dollar at a pounded cellar hole just this year. What part of NH are you guys from anyway???? Happy Hunting and good luck!
Ditto. Interesting site. I noticed many rocks with very strait sides, like hand cut. Only thing missing was nail iron..... And yes we stack old iron, usually on a wall. BTW Mason, N.H. here. LFOD !
I love the combination of the metal detecting and your mediumship gift, can I suggest a microphone wind muffler, it was hard to catch what you were saying when talking about the male energy in the woods due to the wind. x
@@jacquelinesmedley7853 totally agree. We are so new to this. We got one and the first one with the greystone we didn’t have me on and Steve was. Then we couldn’t get the mind muffler we got on it. So we have updated our newer videos better. Some of our videos were previously before we got microphones but our newer ones we have now. Thank you too! It’s hard to tell how much people want to see if each but we are just happy people are enjoying it.
So there is a farm house above me that housed soldiers, there was a wall or a door there that they would sign there name on. It has crawl spaces under the floor that I went down and pulled out pieces of fine China dishes. When the renovated to make it a B&B they found a letter from the son of the family that lived there. He was in Boston. It was fascinating. So there is layers there. I want to know where in stoddard she went.
I really enjoyed this episode. Really interesting and now we're all wondering more about Sara.....I wonder if maybe her husband was imprisoned for being a British loyalist. The sensor going off was cool and we also thought the button that was found was really interesting
This was a cool one...the location was interesting, the lock was a cool find, the (probably revolutionary war era) spirit lady was really cool too! Love the back story the spirits add to the location and artifacts found.
I love trying to figure out what you guys find. I appreciate the pictures you often post at the end of what the items might be or might look like originally.
Oh I’ll tell Steve that. We found like several of them in that area over the course of our 3 videos. And the other interesting thing was that the area also had a completely different soil and indentation.
Thank you. Me too. I try to get a feel for how much everyone wants to see because the history at some places is alot and I could make a video just on that alone. We may try to have added pieces that way people who want to know more about the spirits or locations history they can watch more of that and also people who want to see more relics.
Yah know I never thought of that but could be. Karen here! I will have to mention that to Steve. I also never really thought people just leave cars out in woods but guess that is a thing too.
This is the first of your videos that I have seen. I love it and was mesmerized by your approach and the history you shared of the property and the people. It was fun seeing the wonderful artifacts that were discovered. It was so interesting that the spirit of a previous owner connected with you. I can't wait to check out some more of your adventures. New subscriber!
Awe!! Thank you so much! We just decided to share what we do. My husband loves metal detecting and I host many galleries and events being a medium and I love communicating with spirits and learning about their lives. I’m new to filming and editing so this is so nice to have the comment and happy you enjoyed! Please share so we can have our channel grow and nice to meet you!!❤️
Our whole family is having blast watching these episodes! We are into metal detecting as well as the paranormal and are so thrilled you combined this! Fun history and cool stories from those past!
Thank you so much! We are having fun and thought to just share what we do. It truly means a lot that you commented and your family watched together. So touching!! ❤️
Id love to know if James needs help crossing over? I do Shadow Reiki. I'm in the Boston area. This is fascinating. I feel like he's excited watching you guys find his relics.
Hey Alicia, I spend alot of time assisting spirits moving on if they are in need of that. We will be back in that area as he was so intrigued and I would love to chat more with him. I agree I think many that I have come across are excited when someone acknowledges them. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. You may like some of my events Www.karentatro.com
Looking for artefacts from 200 years ago, you are pretty fierce with that spade! I suggest a water bottle to clean buttons and small items and a very soft brush or cloth. Or not at all, wait until you get home and do it carefully at home. Maybe I’m just a persnickety historian 😅 really interesting video
Thank you so much. That is great advice and I will share that with Steve. This is Karen. We had an item you will see in later videos that was so fragile and we had to be so careful with. Appreciate your advice
Awesome video Steve, I know of two od properties you could check out. My daughters old farmhouse in winchendon mass is haunted by a farm hand that died on the property and she has a cornfield. And my neighbor that moved away five years ago told me his old house Is haunted by the woman that died in it giving birth. Family's children have ben seen talking to walls.the lady and child were buried on the property. I don't think the new people know about the haunting but I will tell them what you guys do and see if they want your company.
Thank you so much! This is Karen and I will make sure Steve reads this and responds. That would be awesome to go there. I have had many private cases in Winchendon years ago.
@@fulllfreezer that is okay. With my paranormal events and work I drive all over! We both enjoy it. I love seeing what Steve may dig up and what I may be sensing on the property.
