I always thought that handle on the bottom of the door was for my foot. Raise it up to my waist with my foot, then grab with my hand and open the rest of the way. 🤷♀️
Thanks for your video. Before this video I was ready to call the local garage door repair shop. It seemed silly to have someone else come out to repair something that should have been simple, but I didn’t know how the handle was attached until your video. I will repair mine this weekend.

That pipe wrench has sharp teeth they cut into the soft metal. The impact sockets are made out of and displaced the black oxide and is there to protect it from corrosion. Well, at least it was there before you had a great idea🤦♂️ I get that sometimes you do what you Gotta do in a pinch. But a $25 breaker bar from Harbor freight says that you did not need to mar up the impact sockets.
I bet that property and the gray set of apartments next to them are probably owned by someone out of town. If these properties were renovated it could help with the housing issue we have in the city.
Well if you like that then you will love this… drive through a Wyoming mountain range in beginning of June… not only is it high, but its fast. And i still drove though it because well… confidence
