Autonomous / driverless trucking should be illegal and for a lot of reasons. There is no good reason to develop it and it can only cause immense economic harm. What good is to to put thousands of men out of work? To make shareholders richer is not an acceptable excuse. Lower costs are also not acceptable. Let the Top 1% take a haircut to lower costs! Plus there are the variables that AI cannot manage. Unless this is being done to get people out of cars and into AI-controlled cars.

Yeah, this has always been the rule but we needed to waste money and resources by adding another layer to the onion. I’ve known 3 guys here in Oregon who have failed drug testing and not a 1 wanted to do a program to get their CDL reinstated. Guess maybe driving truck wasn’t their thing? As I get older here my health is becoming questionable. I may have to change professions before retirement age myself…. Then I’ll be smokin the reefer too😂

California is banning driverless cars so you Know they are not going to be allowing driverless trucks on their interstates and roads and last year they were testing a driverless truck and it Pulled the steering wheel so hard to the Left that if there wouldn't have been a center divider it would have went into the lanes in the opposite direction lanes and ran head on into cars

Ad idea for Volvo. Do your drivers like their work? Do they enjoy waking up and driving everyday? We can fix that. Just buy a Volvo with the VADA system in it. Your driver will hate coming to work and not like their job anymore. We will make your driver safer and more alert with constant beeping when traffic is getting off an exit we will beep at light poles and bridges. We will even cut off the radio just to really make your driver unhappy. Yes by a VADA equipped truck and watch your turnover go up like never before. Volvo where we used to make good trucks.
They need to investigate total quality logistics. They stole 150 dollars from my company and i just know they are stealing alot of money from drivers. They really needs to be investigated. They told me on the phone it wasnt nothing i could do about it. But i just stop getting loads from them. More tgan likely they steaking way more than Celadon
