Will this work across wifi if I have two monitors in two different buildings that I want to duplicate from one laptop. All three devices would be on the exact same network.
It should if the network uses the same subnet. Keep in mind that if you're trying to broadcast a video or digital signage, myViewBoard Manager Advanced might be a better solution (myviewboard.com/products/manager/)
If you want to put your laptop screen on multiple displays you would 1) have to group the displays then 2) cast your laptop using vCast. If you plug in say your HDMI cable, nothing will display on the grouped devices.
Yes, if you click/touch Backgrounds (the mountains in the bottom left corner) --> Then touch/click the calendar icon in the new window that was opened.
Hello. Can you tell me exactly which model this is? Is this 55 inches? And is there an integrated camera or do y'all offer an external camera that can be added to this setup?
The model in the video is one of our 50 series ViewBoards (www.viewsonic.com/us/products/viewboard/ifp50-series.html). The one in the video is a 75 inch board. There is no integrated camera however, we do sell a couple webcams that can be attached to the top of the display (www.viewsonic.com/us/products/viewboard/viewboard-accessories/cameras.html).
what is there to do when the monitor is stuck on the black screen with the 3 birds on it? The power stays blue. I've tried everything customer support told me, even this. Still no luck, any suggestions?
If the display is stuck and you've tried updating the firmware (as shown in our video) double check the steps in this support article (support.viewsonic.com/en/support/solutions/articles/33000210067-how-to-upgrade-firmware-on-ifp8650-ifp7550-ifp6550-ifp5550-). If it still doesn't work, then the hardware might need to be replaced. We recommend bringing this up in your support ticket that was created.
The side toolbar and be show/hidden in the ViewBoard settings (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ouXmwgDOXMA.htmlsi=PzXkbVLvXGnIDfae). Note that if you're in a school district, the side toolbar might be disabled from the IT/admin side.
You would need to go into the ViewBoard settings and find the side toolbar option. Steps are: ViewBoard settings -> Preferences -> Toolbar settings -> Show side toolbar, hide side toolbar, or disable in all input port sources. Note that some organizations lock the ViewBoard settings so you may not be able to access them.
You can only choose Sleep or Hibernate. To prevent the board from ever shutting off you would need to disable Energy Star and configure the sleep settings (as shown in the video).
vCast should run fine on any device that supports it. We would recommend contacting customer service to provide us with more information (www.viewsonic.com/us/customer-service-form/)
Hi, I want to divide the screen into multiple users, say 2 or 3, and unfortunately haven't been able to find out how to do that. Please, I need your help. Thanks a lot in advance.
It is possible to use vCast to wirelessly project your laptop to your ViewBoard (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qgHSUfrA2WY.htmlsi=RggU3A-MNNpp9UD3).
There might be a problem with your WiFi adapter. Please reach out to customer support so we can better support you (www.viewsonic.com/us/customer-service-form).
Hey, I'm on my way to buy one now to connect my laptop. Do you have any suggestions are heads up issues to share about what I should expect, or is it so easy peasy its self-evident.
