Loved this as a soft explanation of FPGA’s, didn’t know about them! 😊

Great interview. Anything that involves neopixels in an aesthetically beautiful way Erin probably has a learn guide on it. Her diffusion guide should go hand-in-hand with the Neopixel Uber Guide. In fact they should rename it to the Neopixel Diffusion Uber Guide, it's absolutely a comprehensive guide for diffusion. Didn't even get to cover her WLED Jellyfish project which other than the Mermaid tail is the most impressive with mesh capabilities. It's a beautiful alternative to something like Christmas or light bulb strands for ambiance back porch lighting.

Gamblors projects are always cool and I enjoy seeing him on show & tell. He does so much for circuit python and is the stereotypical nice Canadian. I loved his Halloween pumpkin display. His weather project was really well done too. Great interview.

I love the idea of circuit Python code grades. Great idea. Also very useful for learn guides in imparting the difficulty level of projects. I still have imposter syndrome and I just made a sequencer pcb. Not sure if it ever really goes away so to anyone apprehensive about participating because they don’t think their project is good enough, do it, I wish I’d started participating years ago. The participation itself (especially Adafruit discord) helps to accelerate your knowledge!!! You’ll learn more and faster by diving in.

Been waiting for this guest for quite some time.... his PewPew devices deserve a lot more recognition then they seem to have! so much programming learning in such a inexpensive device!! Super Helpful & kind as well - very speedy answers to all my questions, even the stupid ones!! Looking forward to his new projects / devices ******************************************* Paul - any news about filling the video editor vacancy ? Also could you put those links in the show notes please?

Really look forward to each show . I know that for 30 or so minutes I am going to be treated to an interesting guest who will be allowed to say things at their own pace without constant interruption . Many of these guests I only know from their guides or from posts on forums - it's great to get to see / hear the person behind the guide . Thanks for making & letting this happen ....

Coming from Canada also, I really found this interview fascinating and, may I say, inspiring. Not to say I would build keyboards but to see how Pierre has embraced circuitpython and thrived, well, that is great. Thanks Paul for this guest.

Excellent guest .... Really great explanations & quite infectious passion for what he does.... Again by letting him just talk without constant interruption you demonstrate what a great host you are !! The explanation of the layers reminds me so much of my first computer - a Zx81, each actual key had upto 5 functions! If you have not got him on your list of guests already can I add a vote for Radomir Dopieralski AKA Deshipu ?

I see, as of this writing, that you have, if I may say, only 73 subscribers (I'm one of them in there). I would like to strongly encourage you to continue doing these shows. They are very interesting in that your guests all bring something to my learning table that gets me going on my learning path. In today's show, you helped me understand, in myself, that like you, I really go for learning new stuff. That is the basis of who I am and interestingly, as Scott said, the caveat to this is that once we grasp a topic, we tend to get bored very quickly and move on to other things. This just hit me hard in my face and, well, this is something that will force me to reflect and adjust in my day to day "flow" of things. Thank you for your show and continue your great work.

Nice podcast again and looking forward to the next episode. I am a teacher myself teaching microcontrollers to K12 students mostly through remote education. I use CircuitPython for older students and makecode for younger kids. I love that flip classroom idea. I hope there's some way to apply the same idea to remote classes.

Great show ... Great guest ... Lovely to finally put a face to the voice of the professor... May have to add Boston to my list of places to visit, would love to sit in on one of his lessons & but him a beer afterwards.. As I've said before you have a fantastic interview style - you just let the guest do the talking, with only the occasional prompt ...very enjoyable!

@@TheCircuitPythonShow Professor G's enthusiasm is infectious. Being twice the age of his students, I feel like I am learning right along with them. He is truly an unsung hero to the community. I have been using CircuitPython for about a year now. Thanks to his videos I can now make custom controllers that interface with our software defined radio platform. .
