This video has given the full definition of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System Support) This has 3 layers which is Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3. As stated, tier 1 is a core instruction and support. This tier is usually used to support those students who has mastered at a good level of their grade. Tier 2 is those students that are working at the targeted supplemental instruction and intervention. Tier 3 also are those students that are needed an intensive individual instruction and intervention as well. I use all of these tiers in my classroom, and it makes it easier to deliver my instruction.
