This might be a long shot, looking at the timeline this video was posted on, but I have a quick question. I installed an aux switch for 404part. I was able to locate the fifth cable, but on my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500, the cable has no power. I need help determining why.
@@ericmagnaye I believe the wire would just need to be powered by a source or try local dealership maybe a kit that can b connected like this video if you have located it
Out Furrion double door is in a ‘23 Grand Design less than a year old, would not hold 36-39, mostly held at 40-43 until started going up one weekend. Mobile techs declined to work on it do to “call backs” with this brand. Parts being unavailable when diagnosed also an issue. Read enough negative people’s problems on all 12 volt fridges last two weeks I don’t think the manufacturers have engineered the problems out of them yet. Never had a problem with my 3-way that ran continuously for 6 years. Only drawback was couple defrosts per year.
So I'm terribly lazy. About where is that wire loop set in relation to the light? I'm going to just drill the fiberglass and put in a rubber plug when I'm done.
Just saw your video. I was hooking up my third light on a ARE CAP for my 2023 f250. I did exactly what you did it worked AWESOME thank for the information.
Great video! Thanks! I have a 2024 3500HD LT and want to add the 3rd Brake Light Camera; (box bed camera) did you see any extra wires for the camera or are the in the light plug since the camera is formed into the brake light?
Have the same problem and the previous owner had it as well.. if it's already a problem with a new toilet how come you want a dometic valve? Have they modyfied it? Even if they never heard of the problem?
From experience here. Many Silverado's will experience the Rear Window leaking slightly. Where you are with the Spoiler off, put a full length of painters tape along the plastic piece of the top of the window, then fill that trough at the top of the window with silicone, fill it to the top edge, wait a couple hours for the silicone to start to cure (full cure in 2 hrs.). take the painters tape off. Done. Again by experience, the Two Alignment Yellow Push Pins. From the inside use a 7 or 8mm long socket and push from the inside of the Truck Cab Up along this Alignment pin and pull the spoiler away to ease removal. You could even use a pair of Bent Needle Nose Plyers to squeeze the Alignment Pins as you pull the spoiler away. Lastly, it would be a benefit when putting the spoiler back on, put a good size dab of silicone at the top and bottom of all these bolts to help make sure water does not come in. If you look closely the bolts removed have a flimsy rubber grommet around them, either replace with new grommets or use the silicone. Have fun and be sure to reconnect that 3rd Brake light on the Drivers Rear Hood liner. Easy to forget that. 20 plus years of Upfitter experience on Public Safety Vehicles. Whelen, Federal Signal and Sound Off, Code 3, Havis Shield and too many Motorola radios and computers to mention.
Apologies for being the slow guy here, but I'm still trying to find the wire. The video looks like you're on the right side of the spare, but you reference the driver side. I'm about to drop my spare to see if that's blocking my view of it. Just wish the video didn't have a break when it moved from the tail gate to the underside. Seeing that transition would likely solve the mystery for me. Regardless, thanks for the time and effort to show it's possible.
