I have another expression for you to study: Ignosticism. I am an agnostic athist, a gnostic atheist, and an ignosticistic atheist in turn. Now you will wonder, how can that be? Different god concepts deserve different answers.

You actually got really close. Closer than many actual nonbelievers get. So hats off to you (get it, like the beginning of the video). They're Actually two parts of the same thing but because of a difficult history, they have been split over time. Theism/Atheism is about *what* you believe or lack believe in Gnostic/Agnostic is about *why* believe or lack believe of For examle.... *Agnostic Theist:* is someone who does not know (Agnostic) if there is a God therefore believes based on faith (Theist). *Gnostic Atheist *is someone who Knows there is no God/s (Gnostic) and therefore does NOT believe in a God/s (Atheist) So what happened? Long ago religious leaders intentionally or not misrepresented Atheism as the definitive claim "there is NO God." and many kept going claiming Atheism was immoral, satanic, and a whole bunch of other nasty things. Over time the orginal defintion of Atheism was replaced. And for reasons I haven't been able to find, Agnostic took on a modified version of the orginal defintiion of Atheism. However, there is a strong movement among Atheist to regain our definition of the word and remove the stigmatism. Your prove that it is working. In all seriousness thank you. Keep up the good work

Thank you so much for the feedback! I really enjoy learning about stuff like this. I've never seen Atheism as satanic, immoral, or wrong in any way. I'ts just another point of view. I love to learn about and compare religion, philosophy, ideologies, and other things that may be seen as controversial. I think it's a great way to learn about people and what drives us.

*Defining Atheism* *Theist* is anyone who believes in a God/s, that could be a Christian, Pagan, Hindu, etc... *Atheist* is anyone who lacks convincing reasons to believe there is a God/s, that could be an Agnostic, Anti-theist, materialist, etc.... Examples of this are.... All Jehovah Witnesses are Theists but not all Theists are Jehovah Witnesses. Likewise all Agnostics are Atheists but not all Atheists are Agnostic ________________________________________________ *Citations* Etymology * Atheism: Ancient Greek ἄθεος (atheos), meaning "without god(s)" * Theism: Ancient Greek θεό (theós).
