Hello Roy, I wanted to extend my congratulations on your latest informative xTool video. We have been looking forward to your new series and have already learned several tips. Thank you!
I just watched one of your videos I don't remember which one it was but you said that lowering the temp, cutting back on the pressure and the time, I did what you said and it worked my tumbler came out beautiful so thank you so much I will continue to watch your videos
Roy thank you so much I really just started doing sublimation and came across your RU-vid channel. I want to thank you so much I have learned so much in the few videos I watched. Thank you again
What if you just resubmitted with the save image? If the intention is to sell that design, once you make a mistake, you baked it in the oven to cause the image to fade, & lighten up, and then you lined up the same image with the faded one.
OK, I tried a second time to flush the nozzles as directed and this time the error message is that it does not recognize any of the cartridges, try turning off the power and reinstalling. I did that twice. Still does not work.
Well, when I started I only had the black & yellow so I cleaned the color jets with this method and now the black does not work either. I will try again but know that without touching the black it won't print after first cleaning.
Informative video, but it would be significantly more helpful. If when you are editing the video you zoom in to the various little components that you are talking about. You’re showing wires and I have no idea which one you’re picking up.
I’m not sure I understand why it’s slower. Does it not engrave at the same speed as if you were doing one at a time? Otherwise just waiting for the slide to move the next project under the laser.
Wish I have seen this video before. Was unwrapping tumbler as soon as it came out of oven because someone said it was easier to remove when hot. That explains why I have been getting ghosting. Will try your method.
Hi Roy, I love your videos :) Did you ever find if you made a video of your paper roller or not? I would love to have my husband make me one? Thank you - Beckey
They’re all gonna be a touch different, sometimes even within a box of tumblers from the same manufacturer (although that’s rare). My jumping off point/default is 9-1/4” by 8-1/8”, with the width including about 1/8” extra paper for the overlap. I use this measuring tape all the time. It’s super easy to measure the circumference with this tape! amzn.to/36HZxOV Thanks for watching!
Have you tried to push the down button on the display when you have the tumbler in? I can push the down button on mine and it starts the tumbler count down so that way you don’t have to open and close the press? I’m glad you showed about the hat press bc I thought it was for pressing the visor part 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Okay, now I’m feeling kinda silky! No, I didn’t try that logical simple idea, but you can bet I will tomorrow! Thanks for letting me know! And thanks for watching!

This was a very helpful and informative video of their heat press. I was worried that the heat press would tip over when you swung the top out, or you'd need a fire extinguisher after sublimating the ceramic plate for so long, but those things never happened. Yay!!! It's great to see that the base of the heat press is wide enough to properly support the top swing away section so it doesn't become unbalanced. I have a different brand swing away heat press that I bought from someone else and I had to screw it down to its stand because the heat press base is too small and causes the heat press to tip over when I swing the top out of the way when I need to lay down a shirt to press it.
Yes, the press stand is quite sturdy! And I should have mentioned it, but I did eyeball the fire extinguisher just to confirm it was where I thought it was! Thanks so much for watching, Renee!
Hello, the seam that you do at the end, how do you do that? Is it done at the time that you press, or can you do this as a fix when you have a white line you need to hide. I'm just starting and I have a lot of tumblers with a white line :(
Hey I am new to crafting, we have a cup press. I was told to use butcher paper to wrap the cup before you put it in the press, is there a reason you don't?
Hey! I always suggest to use some sort of blowout paper (butcher paper, computer pater, etc.), and I do on coffee mugs, but I don’t with tumblers! When I first started, I forgot, I never had any issues, so I just kept making them without the blowout paper! I think the type of sublimation paper you use can help or hurt. I use HTVRONT and don’t have any issues. But if you ask me, I would suggest, out of an abundance of caution to use it! Thanks for watching!
I use Photoshop. I have a template layer that I can put over the design, select the template outline with the Magic Wand, then select the design layer and click delete. I cover a little bit it in this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fnKszy7Y86M.htmlsi=5foBkk_4K4FUgtCg Thanks for watching!
I struggle with the neoprene koozies losing their puffiness after I press them. Even with medium pressure. How do I prevent that or get the thickness back?
I think it would be a little different, probably less time. I’d definitely go by what the htv manufacturer suggests, at least as a jumping off point! Thanks for watching!
