It IS an LCD screen without the backlight or pixels in it. It is just an LCD screen, which is all-black, then black-off when you write on it, making it clear. It is the same used in resin printers. It is just “parts of” an LCD screen, missing the lights and pictures.
I think this thing is awesome. Im tired of wasting paper on numerous notepads. I can write something and take a pic with my phone!! Probably getting one!
white on black (dry erase) is MUCH easier to read is it waterproof if water gets in the charging port?? In the rain, just put layers of masking tape over your DOPE card, shoot the stage and rip that layer off. Simple. This is cool as shit, but it may be a solving a problem that isnt much of a problem
Hey Mike, of the Defiance and Impact actions which would you prefer or recommend? Not sure if you've have the chance to try the Terminus Zeus or Apollo yet, but if you have, what is your take on either of those actions? Do you prefer the longer lighter 90 degree throw to the shorter heaver 60 degree throw? Thank you!
I prefer the Impact over all. Mainly because it is very reliable and Pre-fit barrels are more abundant. I haven't witnessed a single 737R have a quality related malfunction. I don't really place much emphasis on the feel of an action as long as it works with out binding. I haven't tried a Terminus Zeus or Apollo, but I have some time behind a Curtis Axiom. Over all I prefer a 90 slightly. Less disturbance of the rifle on the bolt lift. Again, I don't place much emphasis on the feel of an action.
Any issues with the deadline? How did you go putting it into the grayboe stock? Looking at a similar setup just tossing up whether to go defiance tenacity or deadline. Cheers
I glass bedded the deadline into the Greyboe with out any fitment issues. I did have to make a little room for the Bix n' Andy Sport Tac pro's safety lever. I think the lager bolt body causes the trigger hanger to sit lower in relation to the bore's centerline. This slightly changes the position of the safety lever's position on the action and stock. Hope that makes sense.
