Since it's an old game, you can find it at www.myabandonware.com/game/spider-man-3qc. If you choose the download that says 'Full-RIP with dgVoodoo', that should hopefully work for you (that's the version I use here). If you do want any help, I'd recommend joining our Spider-Man discord: discord.gg/DWdF6akeaY
Are there any efforts on porting this game to the first game's engine on PC? Or some other decompilation effort that helps bring this to PC direclly in order to avoid emulation? Thanks for the info!
Playstation is the most accessible I'd say, but has a decent amount of input lag. Dreamcast and PC are the cleanest and look the best. N64 is just pretty unique and interesting.
@@SP_Spyran i had problems with the pc version. A lot of bugs and sometimes no fixes. DxWnd can help a lot, but on the other side it may create artifacts / errors
@@fadetto71 yeah PC can be a nightmare. The version that works great for me is this one: www.myabandonware.com/game/spider-man-3qc Download the version that includes dgVoodoo and you should just be able to run it and play it no issue
Dude! I didn't even search for this. It was recommended to me on my front page. I absolutely loved this game as a kid! It was even the first video game I completed! In fact, even when I was only 5 years old, I played this game from start to finish multiple times, possibly hundreds of times! It's absolutely mind-blowing to me that this video was uploaded so recently and just now recommended to me! I think I'm going to learn to speedrun this, actually. Subscribed!
Funnily enough, I am in the process of creating a new speedrun tutorial for this game complete with the new skips and tricks we've discovered over the last couple of months. For now, I'd recommend Ink's tutorial here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-09mQj2G6g44.htmlsi=fUlw_YxFu_tET6Ga He plays on PC, but everything in this guide still applies to PlayStation. I'd also recommend you join our Spider-Man speedrunning discord: discord.gg/DWdF6akeaY We can help you with anything you need!
I understand that many people struggle during "Tunnel Crawl" when playing on Hard. Am I one of the very few people who does it fair and square fruitfully?
Not gonna lie, I thought I'd scuffed it with Rhino. But we kept up the pace super well. Still in shock, we weren't sure if sub-29 was possible. Glad to be the first to prove that to be wrong. Add another 10 or so 'Oh my days' to the counter pls thanks.
@@kbottrill1 we're a very friendly bunch in the discord! We'd be more than happy to help in any way we can. You should give emulator a go if your hardware's acting up
