I have the LET great engine but love to piss oil out. Rocker cover plastic so gets warped over time. Why plastic god knows. Other than that great reliable engines.
Hello Aaron, just wanted to ask, i got Z20LEL engine, and im usually sitting around 110°C oil temperature even when just casually driving, it is my daily driver so im wondering, isnt that too much? As im driving it often im wondering whether the oil will degrade faster when running this hot, so maybe an oil cooler would be useful for me? Many thanks for your reply
Can you please do a ler Vs leh please. I know ler has the let turbo let maf and let injectors. With a leh throttle body. I've noticed the ECU is at the back instead of the side. And I'm not 💯 but I think the ler also has the oil squatters. And same M32 gearbox but alot smaller of a clutch

I tried fitting these mechanical lifters and failed. Don’t know how to adjust them. Inlet should be 0,008 and exhaust 0,01. Don’t know where to don’t feeler gauge this small . Normal in feeler gauge the smallest is 0,05mm So had to fit my hydraulic again.
Brilliant video this happened on my zafira gsi last week just fixed this just now slightly different on the zafira then the astra as in a lot tighter I got new gear linkage cables from nevlock as looks a bit more updated cables but the video is really detailed I've used this mans videos a lot helps me out loads as I do not no that much but u do not need to as as long as u have these videos and a bit of common sense u be fine thanks mate
Have you any idea what causes the U0121 Code on diesel astra j . I have abs service power steering traction control and failed speedometer when this intermittent fault kicks in after about 40miles of constant driving . If I leave car few hours it's fine again . Replaced battery alternator and 4 abs sensors and it's still doing the same . Any help would be appreciated thanks
