Limited edition? What's limited edition about 'em? Yeah it may be the 30'th but what's altered? I thought they've been selling these exact same ones... (But most importantly; In case I'm missing something, are they still selling these anniversary ones? 😬)
Okay, so according to one person, the anniversary limited ones have the patch on the inside like the movie/how they used to be made, unlike how they are now (with the patch on the outside.)
@twiztedlettesl I believe P.F. Flyers are more true to size. The materials are thicker and much more durable as well. I'm a 9 1/2 in Chucks and a Size 10 in P.F. Flyers.

@gabrielwhite Yes, but they used multiple prop boards in the movie. Some were lenticular and others had a printed pattern effect. If you watch the movie in 4k and zoom in, you can see the difference in boards through each cut scene. @@DiffuseOne nice! I like the lenticular style very much! Ive bought the universal release now! It arrives on 15. March. I hope it want be have bubbles and wrinkles or damaged decals..... Do you know if that is better now or still quality issues? And how many of these lenticular patterns did you bought? 2 or 3 pieces? Or how many? I will buy them too! I like your board so much! Can you give me some advice, how to cut out the shapes for the lentucular perfectly?
@gabrielwhite I bought 5 sheets of lenticular. I used tracing paper to make stencils. I used painters masking tape to make a stencil for around the foot pad. You'll need to unscrew and remove the hover brackets before tracing the bottom of the board.
I saw your review on Amazon and def would like to utilize some of these upgrades. I never knew the green zig zag lines on the board were Velcro. Also, what did you use to simulate the hole for where the handle bar set up was?

It’s def appreciated. Also, that magenta sticker for the bottom is a great idea. It def adds that pop. Do you know why the board has so much Velcro on it? Was it supposed to be grip or something?
@@mrennny No problem. They do sell a hole sticker on ebay that comes wth 2 Mattel stickers but I prefer having a real hole. Yes, the velcro was used for the movie prop to represent grip tape.
@@DiffuseOne did you use the existing strap to apply the watermelon pink fur to it or did you get the old strap out of the disc it’s in? Tried taking off the bottom float plate but can’t see a way to remove the green disc the strap is in.
@@mrennny You don't have to remove the strap. You could make a fur strap and glue it over the original. Although, I did cut my strap off, leaving 1.5 inch pieces sticking out to glue a new strap I made. I reused the old strap to fill in the missing pink grip on the board.
It would be great if you could do an instruction video on how you attached it all to the board. Did you keep the original graphics and just at the prism effect, or did you strip the board entirely?
@@DiffuseOne Ah, smart! I thought of doing that too, but thought getting those curves and circles would be difficult without removing the green foot plate at least. I always get extremely nervous before making modifications to things as I always fear that I am going to ruin it!
@@77jamess I see. You don't have to remove anything. You just make sure the pieces fit and cut it out with an exacto knife. The prismatic sticker is removable and won't damage the original sticker.
@@77jamess It would probably be easier if you just cover the shapes with masking tape. Stick the masking tape shape onto the prismatic sticker and cut it out with scissors. 👍
