This is a safe space for gamers of all types. Although we dabble in many genres for our streams, our primary focus is on RPGs - specifically RPG character builds! Baldurs Gate 3 was the inspiration behind this idea, as evidenced by how many builds we've done for it, but we are looking into other RPGs with robust character building systems so that we can expand on this. Although RPG builds, especially BG3, are aplenty on RU-vid, there was a gap when it came to specific character builds. Everyone is so focused on min-maxing, creating the ULTIMATE multi-classer, or the ULTIMATE pyro-wizard - you get the idea. We focus on bringing your favorite fictional characters to "life" via lore-friendly builds. Have a specific character in mind? Leave a comment!

Forgive me if ive asked this already but have you considered making bulld videos for the characters feom the recent DnD movie? If you havent seen ir definitely worth watching.
@@GeekEKittenGaming I mean just that sorcerers have magic from birth while wizards get it by studying in dnd, and generally it feels like she does magic in a 'I thought about wanting it to happen and it happened' then 'I have memorised the somatic and vocal components of this spell to bend the magic around us'
@@justsomeferalminor ah ok, i see what you're saying. i need to rework the build now that mods are out anyway (hence this playthrough being on pause), so there is probably a better class choice than wizard or sorcerer at this point for Elsa.
Suggestion for new build series: Star Wars. Despite the difference in BG's and SW's sub-genres, I think it could work. I'd say give it a try; but there is no try, only do. 😸
Hmm, interesting. Bring sci-fi to fantasy. Basically the same genre with different settings lol. The only difficulty with bringing different genres (like what we did with Buffy) into BG3 is the abilities - finding something that is equivalent or close to. But considering the Jedi use things like telepathy and telekinesis, those are, as obvious from this build, transferable.
@@GeekEKittenGaming i tried to play something like nazgul through fallen knight but it was before mods and somehow i forgot to change class and I also made Earandil, also without mods, but now I will invent something
@@igorkolos7960 ooooh ok, that makes sense. actually, paladin oathbreaker is quite fitting I think - although I would say multiclassing is probably in order now that there are a crap ton of mods that could probably round out the build.
IMPORTANT (UPDATED): Thanks to having over 200 mods installed, I missed not one, not two - but THREE mods in the build! The cantrip "Mind Sliver" comes from the 5e-OneDND_cantrips mod. The "Psychic Spike" spell comes from the Psionicist (class) mod. Thank you to @johncoyne2995 for pointing out that these things were missing. The other outlier I just found is where those extra feats come from (where you see Fey Touched, Telekinetic, Telepathetic, etc) - they all come from "Tasha's Feats". Apologies for the misses here, folks - I need to come up with a better system for character builds now that I'm juggling all of these mods.
So, I managed to set up appearance exactly as you set out. However when I got to lvl2 the cantrip "mind silver" and the spell "Psychic spike" were unavailable. Divine intervention choices were all available. Is there some other mod I've missed?
So I could only get the Psychic Spike spell to come up when specifically selecting Demigod - Heir of Aphrodite, and I couldn't find anything about it in the other mods. I have a question out to the creator of the Demigod mod to try and confirm if that spell comes from them. For Mind Sliver, that comes from 5e-OneDND_Cantrips mod. I will add a pinned comment for this. With over 200 mods installed, it can get VERY difficult to track down everything you included in a build. I'll get back to you on Psychic Spike.
No response from the mod creator so I had to figure things out the long way - disable about 200 mods and just run the one that was suspect. Lo and behold, that was indeed the mysterious mod. So you will need "Psionicist" as well. Thank you for your patience.
It's insane that you can make these ppl! Another amazing build! Can you make Horror Characters? Like Pennywise, Jason, or anyone for that matter? Full watch as always to support! Have a wonderful week!
Thanks very much! That's a good question. It's tough to bring non-fantasy characters into a fantasy game, but it can be done (i.e. the Buffy build). I'll have to do some research to see what horror characters have abilities/powers that can translate.
Great build, I love the flavor of it with all the physic and mind control spells. Couple of suggestion mods I'd recommend would be the warped headband mod that sets intelligence to 18 instead of 17 and also for her hair I can't remember the name of the mod but it gives you all the unique NPC hairstyles, the Wavemothers hairstyle I think would look amazing for a Galadriel build.
Great additional mods to use! I actually have the NPC hairstyles mod, the reason it wasn't used for this build is because unfortunately they weren't available for Astral Elves.
I really like the use of Astral Elf here, especially given the description of the lights in their eyes. It's said that Galadriel's eyes seemingly sparkled with the light of the Two Trees. I'm also a big fan of the Mystic class - it's so flexible that it can be basically anything you want it to be: monk, rogue, fighter, wizard, ranger, even barbarian. Though choice paralysis is definitely a thing!
You are NOT kidding about choice paralysis. Using the Mystic class in this build made it take waaaaay longer to put it together haha. But it really is a great class for flexibility and some super fun psychic shenanigans.
The mystic class is interesting and diverse. My current character is an order of the ascetic mystic, which is like a flavored monk-wizard hybrid class. It uses intelligence for its unarmored defense modifier and for unarmed attacks.
One thing I love about the Mystic class is how much variety there is packed in there - covers so much ground! Definitely plan on experimenting with it more.
If you were in the stream and I missed you, I apologize! I know I missed a few messages here and there while chatting about the game. Hope you get better soon!
Thank you so much for this, having a blast playing as Frodo but one question though, why such a high Charisma score? I moslty use Short sword as Frodo and it give no benefits to attacks?
Glad you're enjoying playing as him! The reason for the high CHA score is based on the character of Frodo, not on how it functions within the build. I try to keep my character builds as faithful to the characters themselves as possible within the confines of the game, rather than focusing on most efficient, min-max, OP combos, etc.
These Tolkien builds are awesome!!! Though I do have ideas for future themes. Marvel/Avengers with Captain America as a Paladin Monk or Fighter Monk so he can use a shield and bare fists, Thor as a Tempest Domain Cleric and Storm Sorcerer, Hawkeye as a pure archery Ranger or Ranger Rougue if you want to add stealth, and Doctor Strange as a Wizard Sorcerer (Who saw that coming? 😂😂😂) I could not come up with anything for Iron Man unless you can figure out how to put a Warlock in Heavy Armor since the Photon Blast looks just like a fancier Eldritch Blast. Though it might make more sense for Captain Maevel to be a Warlock since she also blasts lasers out of her hands plus her inheriting Mar Vell’s powers would basically be like forging a pact with a patron.
Thanks for sharing these ideas! We'll definitely be diving into some other franchises for builds in the future once we get past the LOTR craze lol. There may be some mods out now that could make an Iron Man build possible - I'll have to check.
Personally always enjoyed the idea of making Frodo and Bilbo multiclass into Warlock once they get access to the ring. An unspoken and unconsensual pact everytime they make use of the ring and all its unique abillities, with Sauron as the patron. The only difficult part doing so is if you should go blade, tome or chain. Hopefully we get a pact of the ring mod at some point.
Yeah, I get what you mean about the unspoken pact with Sauron - but there's a lot about the warlock class that doesn't fit. HOWEVER, with all the mods coming out, there could be a Warlock subclass that changes that! There are a lot of subclass mods out there already, so keep an eye out!
@@GeekEKittenGaming Certainly a lot to take into consideration with the spells that it lets you use and which patron fits Sauron better. So far best i can come up with that fits would probably be Great old one for more manipulation and deciete based skills that fit Bilbo quite well, such as enthrall by keeping enemies focused on him in a conversation, beast speak invocation, and probably pact of the tome. Will be fun to see what kind of mods that will be made now that it's easier for people to do so. Interested in giving modding that game a try myself
@@GeekEKittenGaming Yeah, seen many made over the years, even made some myself. While Skyrim may not be a "pure" RPG in the old school sense, its freedom is great for build making
This is funny I setup a Aragorn build too. Though I put in Fighter I started off as Ranger. My background was Noble and Ranger knight because it gives you heavy armour proficiency and you allegiance to a state. In the books Aragorn is more open about restoring Gondor and loyal to it than in the movies. I also went with horde breaker too for his resistance I picked fire because he resists Sauron. I was thinking of mage breaker, resilient wisdom too and battle master or going with champion. It’s interesting the weapon stuff though adamantine sword only always his critical on objects and I was going for Phar long sword I didn’t go with the skinny body because he is skinny but really tall due to his heritage but he looks awesome so massive and handsome 😂 trying to romance Shadowheart who is his Arwen 😂😂
Thanks for sharing your build! It's always interesting to hear how others end up doing these characters. I thought about doing the bigger body build, but since I'm basing the appearances off of the actors I decided against it. Good luck with the Shadowheart romance!
