Your videos helped me decided on the Enduro 2. I loved it the very short time I've owned it and then the 3 came out! So since I can still return the watch I did just that and the 3 is on its way. with that said I am still looking forward to your review video on it... appreciate your perspective from a more sports oriented user rather than trying to cover it all... thanks.

MIP all the way. MOST sports activities I do outdoors often in direct sunlight. I wish there was a phones with this type of display. i remember old phones had it. back in the 2003-2006 or so.
Yes I'm also MIP all the way on a watch. I think it could be problematic on a phone however because of the refresh rate. Info on a watch is much more static.
Bye bye Garmin for me. I started with Fenix 3 and had more over the years, ... Fenix 3hr, Vivoactive 1, Vivoactive 3, Vivoactive 4, Fenix 5, Fenix 6,pro, Fenix 7x But sorry I stop here ... like I only use a small % of all the functions (like most people) but the pri e of these watches rock out of the pan. Ridiculous expensive. Goodbye Garmin
The speaker is pretty poor on the 8, but I guess it can be a stepping stone to a proper LTE one day. Also curious about what the future Instinct Tactix 3 will be like down the track, normal size, hopefully with a torch and as you've said in the past make that top right circle an LCD and appear when required not permanent .Garmin should listen to you on that.
Having the possibility to respond phone calls directly from the watch adds more usability for busy people during their activities. Hiking somewhere, cycling or using the toilet, and pressing a buton to take the call can make the difference. And then I'm sure that once you own it, you'll appreciate every aspect . It's like the flashlight when it came out on the Fenix 7X a couple years ago. Everyone said it's a gimmick....but now everyone loves it. I use it daily.
Yes the flashlight is one of my favorite option on a watch. Still it's personal, but the last thing I want I do my activity is to be reachable. Leave me alone when I do my run or my ride, I just want to be with myself.
@PascalMarquisUnbox totally agree... but if you think , different people -different needs ! Garmin should be the greatest adventure watch ( tool), and in some scenarios might be extremely useful letting your crew or friends know where you are . Of course, there are settings 😁. It can be turned on or off. To me, the ultimate Fenix should have LTE and also sattelite connection, same as Inreach. This thing would transform the watch into the most advanced adventure watch ever made . Probably, in 2025 the Fenix 8 "Pro" will have this 😃
I'm a big cyclist. Again it's a very personal opinion but... When I'm on my bike, the last thing I want is to be reachable. Leave me alone with myself. Anyway at the speed I go, there is too much wind to have a call. I don't want my watch to give me distraction and make me stop to take a call, I want it to help me push myself faster and further.

I'll be sticking with the 6X and 965. Saw no point in upgrading to the 7 and still see no point in going for the 8. I mostly wear my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic anyway. Garmin can't get it right and makes too many bad decisions. Honestly thinking about selling them off. Too much drama.
So they did it in 2024 and not in 25. The features I’ve heard don’t impress me. I just upgraded from a Tactix Delta to a Tactix 7 Pro, so I’m good for the next 3 years. If I feel the urge to talk to AI, I speak to ChatGPT or Siri. Besides I just bought another watch, a Mido Multifort TV Big Date Automatic which gives me much pleasure because it’s old school and no battery. I love your approach 🔥🙏
Yeah. Can't decide between Enduro 3 and AMOLED Fenix 8 :). And it's the pixel burn in I'm afraid the most, cause Fenix 8 51 already has the decent battery life.
Just got mine today. WOW!!!!! ONE SOLID TACTICAL KNIFE. Exterior finish is truely classy looking and the knife blade with the extreme viff serrations is razor sharp and very serious looking. It looks and feels totally solid and up for the task.
My Instinct 2 Solar, after a software update, got stuck and I had to hard reset it. After that, none of the sensors are working, and the battery is draining 100% in a few hours. 2 years old watch, out of warranty, no replacement. Very disappointed with Garmin.
I wold try to contact Garmin. You surely re-install the update from a computer, or wait for the next one. I also got a friend who got a free replacement with a neewer watch model with a 3 years old watch out of warranty.
You dont know what you are talking about . The solar panel doesnt charge anything . It just assist the baterry consumtion to slow the time it takes to discharge ...
Turn off you watch, leave it by the side of a sunny window for a day and look at you battery percetage. Come tell me again if I don't know what I'm talking about. You are right, it only make the battery last longer... But it doing it by sending the energy in the battery.
I'm not. I buy all of my product. Garmin is an american company yes. There legal headquarters is in Switzerland. They produce their watch in Taiwan. Suunto is a Finland company and they are still producing their watch home, but it's now own by a Chinese company.

Very nice review. I have a question about barometer measurement. On my garmin fenix 7x solar, air pressure decrease when ı go to see level and increase when ı climb the higher altitudes. Normaly, air pressure has to be increase while going to see level. Why my garmin show such a measurement ı didn't figure out. What about your garmin? İs it same?
Well pressure will change even if you remain at the same place. The watch will recalibrate mixing that information with GPS location. I actually never watch the pressure, only the elevation.
