I purchased a 2005 International IC CE300 DT466 In May of this year. Runs great, except engine check light comes on when accellerator is all the way down for a short time, i leave up on the accellerator and it goes out?? Any reason for this??? I was told to change oil anf filter. And another mechanic said throttle peddle could be the problem too. I love the dam thing, 72 passenger, took the seats out, paintet it blue, got rid of alot of useless things too. 😊
Yeah when it comes to those ICs some are loud and some aren't as loud meaning they sound more smooth for some reason. But between the Vt365 and Maxxforce 7 I think the Maxxforce 7 sounds alot smoother.
Hello, do you have any videos on a Bus #28 a 90s Bluebird International 3800 7.3l T444E, or do you have any information on that bus at all, any information will help, I was attached to that bus since I rode it to Fairplain Elementary School
Yes they sound good. They just don’t have the power that the DT has. I’ve had 3 Maxxforce 7s. No problems out of those but that’s probably just a coincidence lol.
@@BlakeCarpenter ive rode 5 Maxxforce 7 buses a while ago and 2 were powerful but the other three sucked they were slow and gutless and they were overheating
@@charlesrodriguez7984 Gutless and overheating? That's normal for an overheating engine. The ECU detunes the engine if it detects a problem. With Maxxforce 7s, that tends to be a plugged up EGR cooler, or two considering the Maxxforce 7 has *two* of those. Not the only time that's happened to me. 18-01 had the exact same problem (and that bus has a Cummins running 200 miles a day). SPN 3058 FMI 10. Can't live with it, can't live without it..
