Thanks! And I'm guessing you must be asking about flex because gave my thoughts on how the alloy handle felt to me. Its a really stiff handle and I did not notice any flex. But to be honest, i don't swing hard enough to really notice any flex in the 3500/3900 handles either.

You nailed it by starting with the grip. For me, I get more extension which means you stay in "plane" with the ball longer and have the wrist snap available just prior to contact. Otherwise known as centripetal force. Yes there's a mathematical formula for it. lol
There is so much science that goes into a great swing. I try not to mention it much because, one, I only understand about half of it! Haha! And two, I don't want to overwhelm the beginners with too much information
If you were going to recommend 3-5 bats for a beginner that plays in a hot climate and takes a lot of BP’s with a variety of balls what would they be? Looking for something hot but also durable enough to practice with. Thanks love the channel
Content is pretty good. A bit "talky", but you covered two primary things I think the slowpitch swing is simplified into: weight transfer and hand load. If your followers will consistently practice those aspects - the other aspects of their swing should come naturally
@Thejuicer16 Thanks. I'll take "pretty good." I very much decided to take the "talky" approach. I know it's not for everyone, but this is for beginners. There are plenty of channels out there that are very much: "watch me, or this guy do it right. Now you do it. It's simple." I thought I would try to explain it more and talk about why they should want to do it that way. Maybe it will help some better understand what is going on in those other videos. I appreciate the feedback and engagement!

Both great bats. Comes down to personal preference. Biggest differences imo: Alpha is traditional end load, even though it feels a bit lighter than a .5oz to me. I wouldn't call the Aurora balanced, but it definitely doesn't feel like an end load to me. Also, I noticed a bit of flex in the Alpha handle, none in Aurora
I suppose in Layman's terms, yes. The weight is noticeably in the middle of the bat. Just above the connection point. But it doesn't feel like Monsta's midload to me. So, that's probably what's throwing me off on trying to adequately describe it. I have swung lots of end loads, lots of balanced, but when I think about it, Monsta may be the only midload I have tried. I will have to fix that when I get the chance

That is an excellent lineup! I, too, have an MX KoD reserved, but I don't expect to see it for quite some time. Our fall season starts in a few weeks, and perhaps I'll do a short video about the six bats I pack for league night
Which one you prefer would likely come down to personal preference in feel. The Alpha had a little flex in the handle and broke in quicker. The sweet spot on the Alpha was a bit closer to the middle of the barrel, as opposed to closer to the end. Finally, the Alpha sounds a bit different. Both are really good bats
Wild, I love my primo..I think it’s a great single or double gap hitter. I don’t think it’s meant for anything else other than that. Like you said if it’s not in the sweet spot it’s funky until you break it in. About 300 hits it opened up way more and got hotter so if you miss it still goes over infield. Kills the 11” balls if you play in a league with them!
i grew up playing baseball, and i've been playing slow pitch for decades, currently in a senior league. i've always considered myself a poor hitter until i finally made the realization that a slow pitch swing is NOTHING like a baseball swing. i'm now on the journey of learning the basic mechanics of a slow pitch swing and changing almost a lifetime of bad softball swings. your videos are excellent. you present the info clearly and demonstrate it while explaining it. keep up the good work!
No. The barrels feel the same to me. My understanding is that the M5 is exactly the same as the M2, except they are wrapped instead of painted. I feel like the M2 models scaled heavier (and felt a bit heavier), but other than that, they have all felt the same to me. The MX feels like an M5, which feels like an M2. They are all ⛽️
@DLeagueBP I've only ever swung an M2 blacksheep. That's good to hear though. I'd be curious to see if the MX breaks in faster, slower, or about the same as the M2/M5
I’m just spinning wheels in my head and thinking about the Mx tech. m2 was sprayed on. M5 is wrapped. So I’m assuming Mx tech is the same. Just the handle is wrapped now. So I’m thinking it’s all the same just modifying graphics
You may be on to something here. After all, when you have the best bat in the game, why would you change it? After all, I can't imagine it being significantly better and still getting a USA stamp
Amazing no one can come close to Monsta ... My issue with Monsta is playing in a tough weather region ... Playing in New England ... I've already cracked 2 Monstas
There are some really good reasons to forgo a monsta and to swing something else. Regularly playing in cold weather is one such reason. I use the Proton Hot Butter when the temps drop and it has been 🔥
I try not to rank bats, but my personal favorites at this point are: anything M2, M5, or MX Monsta (I game the KoD), then the proton hot butter as the temps drop, and then after that, there are a lot of really good bats available these days. Just comes down to personal preference
I just pre ordered the Mx 25oz with alloy, currently gaming the Easton alpha 26oz. I’m 5’9” 160lbs and not a home run hitter and wanted something mid load and a little lighter. Looking forward to getting it. Thanks for all the reviews!
Sounds dead like a teammates older Primo, maybe 2022 or something. Everyone says it’s broken. Sound isn’t amazing but it’s gas after hundreds and hundreds of swings
