The award winning Band-in-a-Box is so easy to use! Type in the chords to any song using standard chord symbols like C or Fm7b5; and Band-in-a-Box does the rest, automatically generating a complete professional-quality arrangement of piano, bass, drums, guitar, strings and more. Plus, add REAL accompaniment to your song with RealTracks and RealDrums- actual recordings of professional studio musicians! __________________________________

We wrote this song on Band in a Box 2024. Then transferred it to Logic and replaced some of the instruments. Band in a Box is an amazing tool for many different reasons. We used it as a sketch pad. The Ska settings are fab. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yApOykk0s-w.html ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The sound on these Tutorials is TERRIBLE ... Why would you not make the speech 'Crystal Clear' for such important Information ? Sound keeps dropping in and Out ...... Im taking my B.I.A.B back for Refund, Amazing PG Music would post these Tuition Videos whilst hard to understand the Speech
Thank you for your feedback. This video is part of our Customer Support video playlist, which are videos that are quickly "thrown together" by our team that address the more common questions about the program. There are plenty of videos on our other Playlists that have been through more thorough editing/production.
Historically the sole purpose in using repeats is to reduce the number of pages to be written or printed. But with software it makes no sense whatsoever since for one thing, installing the repeats is more complicated than just copying the bars in question. Secondly, it’s of no benefit to the musician since the pagers scroll automatically with or without repeats so using them is just extra work for nothing. I think just laying out the whole composition in a straightforward linear way is the easiest way to compose and play the music.
Hello, I just bought the pro version of BIAB. I am wondering what version you are using? I don't see anything in the melodist section. I am currently recreating the same pattern you do in this video. Please let me know. Thanks.
This video was created using the Band-in-a-Box UltraPAK, which includes all of the Melodists. If you are seeing less in your Pro installation, that is expected. However, if you are not seeing any listing at all you will want to connect with our team to help complete your installation. www.pgmusic.com/contact.htm
Synth V actually shines if you sing the melody and then have it render that. You alter the notes later once it is imported and even correct how the notes are sang so they're not too flat or sharp, but leaving those imperfections creates more realism. At least this is what I found since I personally don't have terrible pitch singing, but my timbre is weak.
I get that this video is demonstrating this softwares capability but gee it really grinds me when watching someone who lacks talent thinks they have talent.
Thank you for such a good clear and substantive video ... the presenter has a great voice and does an excellent job in sharing the features .... thank you again ...
Hi, please, what if I created lyrics and chord progression for a new song, can PG music sing the son= for me like an AI does? If yes, that would be great. Thank you so much for your advice.
Great question - this feature is not available in 2024, but has been requested. When developing the next version, we do try to fill as many requests as possible - so keep an eye out for that feature in a newer version release!
I have the 2024 Audiophile on hard drive. I was told that it includes everything. But I'm following your tutorial (which is great btw) and I just noticed that you said that you have 'over ten thousand' styles to choose from (approx 11:45). I have the, what I was told, the version that 'has everything', but I only have just over eight thousand styles to choose from; that's a big difference. I specifically requested 'everything you have' and they assured me this was it. I also have the 2022 version which they said is now unnecessary because 2024 has it all. So why am I seeing your version as having over two thousand more choices? Is there something in 2022 I should not have removed from my system? I'm going to finish watching this video; it's probably the best one I've found to date. Thank you for this; I'm learning a lot.
The Audiophile includes all of the regular styles included, however there are separate Styles that are available for purchase called "XPro" and "Xtra" Styles which add roughly 2,750 more Styles to the program (currently, as of July 2024). @@pgmusicinc I had a conversation with a lady named Ember. I asked her if this was 'everything' PGMusic had to offer and she said 'yes'. Now I find out it isn't. I re-read the transcript and she said 'everything current'; I asked for everything. I can send the transcript to you personally since you work for PG Music. You can read it for yourself. One thing, which I missed in the transcript, was 'I could copy the PAKs that I have in 2022 to 2024'; you may be able to help me with is copying PAKs from my older version to this latest drive (2022 to 2024). There might very well be the missing PAKs there. I'll look around the previous drive and see how intuitive it is to do this. Thank you for responding. This has been very helpful. This whole confusion could be me. If it is, my apologies.
Hello PG Music? What would be the use of pre-recorded vocal songs WITH lyrics? Please enlighten me, I really really have problems grasping the concept of anyone using this kind of stuff 🤷🏻♂️sorry
The "songs with vocals" are just a very small part of the new content. The 202 new RealTracks and RealDrums are probably more what you're after. Some people enjoying checking out the the songs with vocals as examples of the kinds of thing you can do in Band-in-a-Box, but if you're not into that, you can simply not use them. They don't take up a huge amount of space, and you can delete them if you're not interested in using them.
With the introduction of RealTracks and RealDrums quite some time ago, we began creating RealStyles. Before that, all Styles were MIDI. Recently we started making MIDI Styles again, and the series name for those are "Look Ma - More MIDI!" Review all MIDI Styles: www.pgmusic.com/addons.styles.php?os=mac
The Songs in our Artist Performance Sets are produced by us, and are real singers. Version 2024 does not have an AI vocals option. It's definitely a request though, so stay tuned for the next version of the program (we try to fill as many requests as possible!)
@@pgmusicinc Cool. You should call it BIABAI then )) But seriously, you have pioneered what is today AI music production. I'm sure, most of the feachers can be made to follow a a simple script. Good luck!
The Melodist is an amazing feature of BIAB and i hope you can include even better features and even more melodists in the upcoming updates for BIAB. I wish you all the best. May this beautiful software live forever.
very interesting. please could you make a video on doing this the other way around? making lyrics in chatgpt, then copying them into BIAB, then getting BIAb to make the chords and melody to match the lyrics?

I just got the program and all I want to do is at bar 4 of a 4 bar song is put a quick C and D in after an Em. The Em playing the first half, and the C and D playing the last half of the bar in 4/4 time. So I guess that would be the Em for first two of the beats, and a C for the third beat, and a D for the forth beat?( Sorry I don’t know the proper jargon, I’m old) I tried doing this with micro chords, which put the C and D in but it messed up way the Em played on the first two beats. I would think I could enter 4 chords in one 4 count measure, but it only lets me put 2 chords in per the 4 count measure? All I want is a quick C and D to play after a Em before it goes back to beginning of the song. Any help would be appreciated. I have watched videos and tried to find how to do it in the manual on the pg music site, but can’t find anything telling me how to do this seemingly simple task. Thank you!
@@pgmusicinc ok after hours of searching I found the answer. All I had to do was put a comma between the two chords. Why was something so simple so hard to find the answer for in the help and in the manual? I tried wording it in several different ways. And couldn’t find the answer. After watching about 2 hours of instructional videos I came across the simple directions of how to do it. I think you guys need to rethink your manual! Maybe make a list of the most basic functions all in one category, instead of having to search through endless unrelated instructions until you maybe come across what you need!
I am using Logic Pro 10 with BIAB Ultra and cannot find a way to enter chords in BIAB when used as a plugin. EX: If I try to enter a "G" chord by hitting the G key on my QUERTY keyboard Logic see this action as a 'speed key shortcut' and BIAB doesn't register it at all. How are you entering keys in this video? It would be helpful to have explained it as you were doing as I cannot get it to work..
You should be able to enter them the same way you would in Band-in-a-Box. Learn more at www.pgmusic.com/support.bbmplugin.htm - if you'd like to discuss this with our team directly, you can connect with them via the Live Help on our website, or by phone & email www.pgmusic.com/contact.htm
SynthV is great but unfortunately as I understand it - the Synth V plugin is VST3 only on OSX - but only AU v2 and VST2 is supported on MacOS - so one cannot host the SynthV plugin inside BIAB Mac
On a funny kind these guys show how to have fun in "makin' music because of the music" . Great job boys and never give up the music, 'cause she never give up on you. ;-) Greetings from Germany Tommy Blue
Mac 2024? This is great information. It's now 2024 and there have obviously been many improvements in BIAB but it still appears that the Mac version is a little behind the Windows version. For example; I demoed a Realpak that I absolutely loved (Country RealPak - Volume 20) but the specs state that it is "available for Windows 2024 version only". WIll there be a Mac 2024 version coming soon or perhaps a 'Country RealPak - Volume 20' that will work with Mac 2023? I am ready to buy Ultra but wonder if Mac 2024 might be worth waiting for, that is if it is in the works.
@@pgmusicinc : Thank you for your reply. If I buy the 2023 Ultra version of BIAB for Mac now will the 2024 version be a free upgrade when it is made available? Just curious.
