Still don't know how Dube was able to put that one in. I was sitting up behind the net and thought there was no way at that angle, but Dube stayed with it and put it in and slid backwards into the boards. Great play!
You had the record season and superlatives by players, but what really impressed me was them being able to bounce back against Cleveland, and then further that momentum vs. Coachella Valley. Who would have truly believed that after what we saw against Cleveland that winning the cup would actually happen? THAT is what's most impressive; their resiliency.
As a Caps fan since they began,,, I Love how the Bears Organization puts such a good team on the ice -- they care enough to give the fans a great product-- and im sure alot of fans from hershey, pa., make the trip when possible to see the Caps-- I thought with the Cleveland Series being a long 7 games, with a couple OT's, and Coachella winning in 5, and wanting revenge,, the Bears wouldnt do it again-- glad i was wrong...
Announcers...........PLEEEEASE stop screaming your calls......just annoying! Look up RON WEBER voice of the Washington capitals from 1974 - 1997!!!! His calls were always interesting and different..........not the garbage you hear today (like Jon Walton).
Hard to do a three peat the Springfield Indians are the only team to do it. well they had four but lost the first one to Hershey who was the bread to that sandwich.

not one of them deserve the NHL after that choke fest and that includes the coach. JR hockey could have coached better in those last 2 games. what idgiit changes the game strategy after one win? Milwaukee should be asking if you were going to gift wrap it to hershey we could have done better than that and made at least an effort. CV should get back to the desert and burry their heads in the sand.

What a joke. Couldn’t be more of a fake if watching WWE. FB didn’t even try and gift wrapped the entire game. How many times did the just dump it down, can’t score without the puck so it’s fixed or the coach gave up.
I was there. Place was the most electric atmosphere I've ever seen at a hockey game and I've been to a LOT of NHL games. It was even more nuts than Games 3 and 4 of last years Calder Cup Finals that I went to. I got 3 goals on video including the OT winner. Fantastic job Bears, you hung in there and battled really hard. What a remarkably dominant regular season and amazing run in the post season and Calder Cup Finals! That was honestly the best hockey game I've ever been to and I've been a fan for over 30 years and played for 10+. Let's Go Bears!
Great/awesome/fantastic season Bears! To repeat as champs even with the Caps callups the last two seasons, the team is able to field a competitive roster. Nelson has been nothing short of magnificent to push the right buttons in order to achieve the team's success. As a season ticket holder, I will be there on opening night (again, I was there last year) as the newest Calder banner is raised to the rafters.
As a diehard Washington Capitals fan, I'm happy many of the Capitals fans who are also fans of this team have something to celebrate after a disappointing early playoff exit. Although, after recently learning that the Hershey Bears are affiliated with the Capitals, I wonder how that works if the Bears are a Pennsylvania team
@@kjprodouctions9050 I believe when the Caps came into the league in 1974, their first affiliation was with Hershey. Then, Baltimore to Portland, Maine before coming back to Hershey. I want to say neither city other than Hershey would build a new building. Plans for Giant Center were already underway by the time the move from Portland to Hershey. Yeah, I do see your hesitation with a Maryland/DC team in Pennsylvania. I'm betting that having a new building like the Giant Center is one cause for the affiliation. Another is Buttman's creed to have the AHL team close to the NHL team as possible. The western teams had their affiliates here on the east coast for the past 20 odd years before this edict of Buttman. The last west team to leave the east was Vancouver (Utica was their affiliation if I remember correctly). Great hockey to have 3 PA teams within an hour's drive to Hershey, Wilkes-Barre, or Lehigh Valley.
This year, the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup after being defeated the previous year, and the Hershey Bears won the Calder Cup. Congratulations to the Bears on their second consecutive championship!

Never been a bears fan (grew up going to phantoms games at the spectrum) but I’ve always admired the tradition the Bears have carried in the AHL. Always cool to see a big following/good atmosphere for minor league sports. There’s a sense of community and small town pride and I love it. Congrats Hershey, I’ll be at the amusement park this summer 🤙🏻
