It doesn't impact and the interior still works because either button is just connecting the wires when it's pushed, completing the circuit.. one is not reliant on the other

I slowly curved the fencing line starting with the final 3 panels so it lined up pretty evenly (a little snug).. then I cut it to the correct side.. and cut it at an angle so when the fence was tight, it presses up against the brick.. if I wanted to be extra secure, I could put little a little metal bar or a piece of wood in the ground with some cement so you can't push it.. but it's pretty snug as it is so I didn't feel a need to
