Do you have the foot rest as a replacement accessory? Bike is going back to a younger kid from pedal back to balance bike, but I misplaced the footrest I originally removed. Thanks
We do not have this as a standard accessory on our website but if you call into our customer service rock stars they can get you set up. The number is 605-342-0266
That is most likely the screw to hold the chain guard of the pedal kit on when you purchase and install it. To be 100% sure you can send a photo of it to our Customer Service Rock Stars at customerservice@striderbikes.com
So sorry to hear you're having such an issue with your base! Please reach out to our customer service team through out warranty form found here striderbikes.com/warranty/ and we'll get you back up and rolling before you know it.
At about the 5:30 mark of the video Susie explains that although we tried to give cues the biggest thing we did to help teach her how to pedal was to allow her the time to try on her own. That's the huge benefit of the Strider 14x it's such a natural progression that they basically teach themselves!
Don't give up! Take the pedals off your bike you currently have and use it like a balance bike for a while to get comfortable balancing. When you can lift your feet up and glide without the pedals put them back on and you'll be pedaling like a boss in no time!
I would suggest reaching out to our customer service team www.StriderBikes.com/support there you can submit some photos or video to help them diagnose and resolve the issue quickly. Thanks!
If I'm understanding your question correctly, the drum brakes are adjustable so they can set to react as quickly or slowly as you like. Like other bike brake applications it is dependent on how hard you're pulling on the lever.
My pedal kit came with an M8 bolt but the strider had a M6 installed and the M8 does not fit. I just used the M6 that was preinstalled, is this a problem?
