tha'ts a weird industrial design for the filament in to that shroud, is there a PTFE tube missing? seems the filament would wear away at that hole after a while.
@@deervalleyengravings3088 for some reason that's the only way I can get it to come up at lest using the slicer they provide with it. don't "save TFT to whatever" for some reason it only works with "export as TFT" then select your micro sd card.
I cannot get the filament to stick to the bed. The first level of print goes down and then starts moving while the second level goes. I have tried everything and still does not work. Been trying to print the test boat for 3 days now. I am very new to this printer (used a Tina2S previously) so I do not know what the issue could be and there does not seem to be any trouble shooting information out there. Can you help me?
@@deervalleyengravings3088 yes, thanks for that, also! I'm learning to love my naughty X3. Fixing a few bad assembly issues, and just moving forward. Big 4040 extrusions sides and back, nothing in the front. Almost back to printing with it.
@@deervalleyengravings3088 I haven't had mine working long enough to say. Everytime I try to reinstall that button, it stops working. Finally just gave up and run it without. Turns out the board is just hanging in midair and really hard to line up properly.
Tú puedes reducir el sonido del ventilador con una almohadilla para amortiguar las vibraciones del ventilador. Yo acabo de hacerlo y mejoro mucho el sonido
This video answered one of my main questions. Thank you Have you looked inside yet? Is it running a Ruby like the x2? Trying to know what it would take to convert it to Klipper before I take the plunge
Why do printer companies always leave the M600 out of the firmware!? This is one of the main reasons I convert to Vanilla Klipper. You get all the features, and more
@@TheFeralEngineer have you tried TPU on it? My X2’s and genius pro can, but I have to baby sit them the entire print so they filament doesn’t hang for even a second; or it kinks and can’t recover
@@geauxracerx not yet. I print a minimal amount of tpu, but what I've learned from all metal hot ends is that you can barely have any retraction at all and you need to print slowly. I think my best luck was 0.1 or 0.2mm retraction and 50mm/sec on my Neptunes. This machine was sent to me and I really only need it when I run production of a 4 part assembly I sell on my Etsy page because it's 4 different colors and it's so nice to batch everything out in a few hours 😀

Did you manage to print with a regular Volcano Nozzle ?
Oh I'm sorry I thought I saw a Creality KE Neptune 4 Clone with and M5C head putting down a print on a Bambu Bed. My Bad I must have been mistaken. No wonder it prints so well. Nice Video And Print.
What did you do to solve the bed wobble. I did turn the eccentric nuts all the way to the iside part but tthere is still some wobble on the bed. I did remove the heat bed as well to double check that the eccentric nuts are all the way inside.
The X3 plus is my first printer and there are a few things that really have me confused about it. 1. Is there a 110/220 voltage switch on it? I have looked high and low on the base for one. 2. The bed has 6 leveling adjustment wheels, one at each corner and two at the center of the bed sides. I'm just not sure what those two adjustment wheels are for. My X3 plus didn't come with a micro SD card but with a Flash drive along with a micro-c adapter cable which is OK with me.
Good video! I just received my X3 plus and have "bed wobble" and bed leveling problems. I tried to correct using the 10 MM adjustments under the right side of the bed. It seems to interact with my bed leveling adjustments. Did you by chance take any pictures of how you took the bed off and what all the adjustments are. I understand the corner adjustment wheels, I don't understand the two wheels between the left side/right side corner adjustments. Is there a specific order that these adjustments should be made and is there someplace I can get a labeled drawing showing the layout beneath the bed. Any help or comments would be appreciated.
Yes it is louder. The fans are louder, in the power supply and the part cooling fan. To print so fast you do need better cooling. Add the high speed motion to that and you're not going to be watching TV or talking on the phone right next to this printer like you can the X1 and X2. This is the same with the Bambu printers. I know because I have one. High speed printing sacrifices quiet, and these printers are running quiet drivers.
@@rburks many thanks for your answer. I was thinking buy one. I also have a X1 carbon and yes, it isn’t the quieter printer but it is closed which reduces the noise. But bambus printer are 3 to 5 times faster than a x1 or x2 (I also have both). I don’t know if these new models from artillery are valuable for the price versus speed in comparison to other printers like elego or Bambu. Best regards
My X3 showed up today; playing around with it..... now to figure out where to get more 4mm head nozzles, Im not seeing them on Artillery website, Amazon on a Google search...... good video!🎉
According to Artillery they will be selling nozzles of different sizes on their web site soon. I'm glad to see here that the old ones still screw in. Maybe if we are able to order more silicone socks from Artillery then we can just trim the little lip off of one and use it for standard Volcano nozzles.
What did you use to clean it? This is my first 3D printer after using an X2 at the school I teach a few times and I know I still have a lot to learn. The X2 has a glass bed and I saw somewhere you can clean it with acetone. Is that safe on the PEI platform? Thanks for answering these questions. This model is still new enough there's not a lot of information out there. @deervalleyengravings3088
Did you do anything to prep the bed? I have tried the 3DBenchy print twice and both times it broke loose from the bed and started sliding around. 25% the first time. I used a glue stick and got to 85% the second time. So far, I am using the sample filament that came with it since the filament I ordered hasn't arrived yet.
This is exactly what should be done, but I don't remember anyone telling me that on my first printer and I remember struggling back then. It seems like it should be pointed out that those are necessary first steps. I have a few X2's that have basically been trouble free. I almost pulled the trigger on the X3 but then found out they already have an X4 with wifi connectivity. So I decided to wait for it to be officially released. @@deervalleyengravings3088
I also had the benchy come loose two times, and my bed was perfectly level and my z offset was good. Everything else I've printed so far has stuck very good to the bed. I happened to have some VisionMiner NANO Polymer Adhesive that I haven't tried out yet, so I put some on the middle of the bed and was able to finish the benchy without it coming loose.
hey, looking forward to testing the x3 plus! About the nozzles: can you give me a hint which Nozzle the X3 plus uses? I want to order an 0.6mm nozzle (which makes more sense for a larger printer, right?). I also installed one in my creality K1 - and I like the speed and efficiency of the prints with 0,6mm (I'm mostly printing functional parts - not decoration). thanks, greets from Austria, Mario
@@deervalleyengravings3088 I think they use the same as on the X2 - but it would be nice if you can confirm. But not so important - in a few days I should have mine - and I can order the 0.6mm later as well.
Nice printer, I bought it too... do you have any cura profiles for the printer? I have seen some have it on there micro sd that is coming with the printer, but mine was empty.
The one that he uses last is going to work the best cuz it's already going to have three or four different paint already soaked in he should have put all four different paints on four different parts and let it all dry then wiped it off to see the better results
I think he's not leaving the paint on long enough to let it dry spraying the liquid breaking down the effect also the ingredients that's in the Windex there's two different kinds of Windex I wouldn't have used either
