@@joshuafloyd8044 it’s been about a year and no complaints, it wasn’t a difficult install, it just the fitment of the rad is different and thicker, but everything mounts to where it needs to go and if u have after market intercooler pipes the lower bracket might get in the way so u just gotta grind it down to make the room but other than that it’s been great
@@wavy7174 I never hurts to add catch cans to any car but it definitely has a couple good benefits, 1 is not allowing contaminants recycle through the engines oil, another is to reduce blow by in the PCV and crank case ventilation system, and sometimes your engine can build up some condensation, the catch can doesn’t allow that watered down oil to cycle through again if it’s on the system trapped ya know… the list could go own but over all I’d definitely do a dual setup and u can mount them in a different location if u want
Don’t be pendejo but a tuck start a business and buy a house in pinche carro no te a llevar a nada, a fucking car will never take you anywhere in life besides where you need to go, but financially nowhere. I used to ride the bus and and always had money as soon as I bought a car I was broke
Hey question. I have a 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T with cat delete. I keep getting engine codes for the O2 sensors, and turbo senser. Replaced all of them and still getting codes. It runs like crap, then the computer shuts off the turbo. Been doing this for two years. I hardly ever drive it. Can't figure it out. EDIT: Some days it runs great. (shrug)
@@CBsays_ if u are catless you will always have the check engine on especially if it’s not tuned, ur gunna run like crap too if ur not tuned while catless over a long period of time but also check ur fuses to the o2 sensors on the passenger side fuse panel bc sometimes they go bad at the same time as the sensors
@@CollinGantt Thanks for the reply, I'll check those fuses. Is there some software that I can buy to tune the car, or do I have to take it to a shop? Theres not many places around me that do that type of thing.
Sheesh that’s Hyundai engineering for ya lol, it’s more so what are u looking for in a sports car… v6 has more power outta the box and has less bolt on modifications u can do engine wise compared to the 2.0t, the 2.0 can make more power in the long run but both have there issues so it’s up to u and what platform u think best fits u ya know
@@justinjohnson4413 I very much so understand where u are coming from but what ever u can get ur hands on first I say go for it, in the end most people who are going with in depth modding the car is more than likely gunna check that off the list… I currently have my 3.5 lsd in the garage rn just waiting for a good day and when I’m strong enough to do the install (I have cancer and just getting over chemo) the brakes were a easier task for me to do so I did it first lol
@@justinjohnson4413 but yea I bought everything in that order, I got the LSD and poly bushings + the 4th mount, just not installed yet, and then I got the brembos with stainless lines and fully rebuilt those.
@@TuxedoBert if u want more power straight outta the box then 3.8 v6 but if u want fun noises all the time and more mods u can do then go for the 2.0T please get a manual too it’s soooo much more worth it and just be mindful both platforms have issues no matter what u can get lucky with well maintained ones like I did but keep that in the back of ur mind.
If I had watched all your other shorts, I would have seen it was a 2.0T, lol. Weird most red ones I noticed are mostly 2.0T’s. Yeah I have a 3.8BK2 and I absolutely love her. And yeah unfortunately for me something in my brain won’t allow me to drive manual. I just can’t get from neutral to first without stalling every time lmao. (Lack of practice, incompetence, etc. lmao) So I preferably went with my automatic GT lmao. (Still has a “manual” mode lol, but obviously isn’t the same, still super fun though) Yeah it’s like 8k to get the turbo kit and everything installed for me, plus I’d need to beef up the other internals. They say nos works really good with stock internals on the 3.8🤣 So maybe one day down the road. Had her for almost two years and I’ve loved every second I’ve had with her.
@@TuxedoBert yea in my opinion if u turbo ur 3.8 I say buy another engine on the side a build it and enjoy ur stock internal 3.8t bc every engine build has its issues and I hate to see someone fully build a motor and then have it blew bc of an issue no one could account for like over boosting by accident or something like that ya know, so 3.8t stock internals first… build the motor on the side after staking parts, and then once all the hiccups are sorted out send the OG motor to the moon lol
Not necessarily u can route it so that the original stays closed and the new one is the only one functional but for ease of the install I suggest getting the block off plate
Any chance you can send me your ig or snap and help me out with the vacuum lines just picked up a 12 coupe 2.0t and there some missing and messy vacuum lines that I wanna fix and add
