Nicely shown I learnt from my friend to make this with cooked rice, instead of mixing rice flour and then heating till it thickens. Add little curds and pulse the cooked rice to a thick paste. Thereafter add all other ingredients and make the vadas. Using left over rice to make this is faster. Comes out very well.
@@simplellagionduaduge ok. That’s a choice. Blend or mash or use flour to make slurry and then cook...one can choose any method. I find pulsing cooked rice to a paste very convenient and fast. That’s all.
Yes that's a choice purposely chosen. The food already cooked and ready to eat and pulsing again frying is completely unhealthy so I prefer not to use cooked rice .
She said you can use other millets but idk if you can mix diff millets… worth experimenting 😊. Be mindful imho of the soaking times that vary for diff millets, not to mention the digestive aspects of mixing multiple millets. In general millets are harder to digest, so mixing them may make it harder especially for the elderly. Good luck
I have already mentioned that millet should be soaked for atleast 6 to 7hrs. More than this I don't think any millet needed to be soaked. I think (and research says) The mindset of people that it is harder to digest keeps them away . Otherwise it is good to go.
