What's he so worried about? It's a starship. Full VTOL. Nice and forgiving. If there's trouble, you can always lift back up. Nothing like landing a fixed-wing aircraft.
Major missed opportunity in not featuring more of Klag. Brian Thompson made one hell of a Klingon. I know he was featured in some novels later on but it would have been cool to see him on more TNG or even DS9.
The Scene you Watched From T'Pols mind: 1:10 T'Pol Staring directly at Trip with absolute contempt. 1:24 Gets confirmatory news of baby, folds arms, never breaks eye contact. 1:45 Can't hold in the rage. Still has not broken eye contact. 1:54 Is not taking this bullshit while Not even blinking. 2:07 'You hot idiot' 2:26 'Lets educate you, you dumb piece of shit' 2:38 ::Murders Trip with Eyes:: 3:38 The Universal translator got this part wrong. What she really said was "I'm going to make that ass remember who it belongs to, just you wait you cheating slut." 3:42 Acher thinking to himself looking at T'Pol : 'Trip is so screwed.' 3:47 Archer to Trip: 'I'm not part of this' 3:55 Archer to T'Pol: 'Please don't kill him. He makes the ship go.' 4:27 How dare you ask me for anything.
stonn and spock's father previously went undercover to do some espionage on a romulan warbird that attacked the enterprise. not sure how they survived the destruction of the ship.
After having a kidney stone, and dealing with the after effects of opioids on the lower digestion system (I will leave it at that) I kind of wonder if Diana suffered the same stuff from the drugs the doctor gave her.
I watched it for the sound effects, and it's different than the sound effects for when a Transformer does shapeshifting. Obviously they're not gonna change their traditional shapeshifting sound effects to Star Trek sound effects, but they both have good sound effects. It's probably not possible to find Odo action figures, but the ones who are in charge of toy making might make more money if they started selling Odo figures that could transform into the things that were on the show.
The problem with what he did was that he took military property without authorisation, Voyager had no idea where he was, using a craft that's designed for space flight and not under water exploration. Janeway refused to assist because she had no means to recover the flyer or it's crew from an underwater emergency, NOT because she didn't want to. A submarine rescue requires specialist equipment and personnel; remote vehicles, medics, oxygen, food, water plus drugs to help deal with the effects of being trapped on limited oxygen. The survivors have to be brought up slowly with a safety stop to allow the nitrogen bubbles to disperse from their blood. The survivors will need to be scrubbed down and have an assessment by medical staff for injuries and the bends. Only four successful submarine have been carried out, the deepest being the Pisces 3 in 1973,the submersible became inverted after a towline from the mother ship fouled on one of the hatches and wrenched the hatch open. More than 2,000lbs of water poured into the aft sphere. The two pilots were trapped 1575 ft below the surface, 150 miles off the south west of Cork, Ireland. Both men were rescued after 84 hours and 30 minutes trapped inside the craft. The subsequent investigation found there was only 12 minutes of usable oxygen left, in other words, saved at the last gasp!!
I remember watching this on its 1st run. I remember being disappointed how slow the episode was after the epic "best of both worlds". All these years later, this is one of my favourite TNG episodes. Time changes us all.
It's a shame that Q never introduced himself to the Prophets. Then again, I doubt that would end well for any mortal life around. Then again since Q DOES understand what time is, for all we know an encounter with them went very badly, the universe had to be set right afterwards, and the continuum basically told Q not to go anywhere NEAR that wormhole... and that's why we don't get to see Q pester Sisko for the rest of the series.
Ensign or no, he still gets the girl. Unlike Harry, who had a series of painful romantic trainwrecks with a zombie, a terrorist, a clueless ex-borg, a hologram who wasn't really a hologram, a hologram who was really a hologram and turned into a cow, a three year old Ocampa who never existed, and others.
Your thoughts on should there be a stand alone klingon movie.I had the idea of a sort of magnificent 7 type film with the crew of a klingon ship being thrown clear across to the other side of the galaxy where they find a race of weak beings attacked an tormented by what they thought was a warrior race but find out they are cowards at heart just many of them. The movie would highlight just how the klingons as a warrior race should be and not the toned down ready to be beat by a starfleet ensign klingon.Klingons in essence should be somewhere along the line of top level special operations units in ground combat.
