I have king size valevag IKEA mattress. The problem with the sprung spring mattress is that when you sleep in the edges, mattress sloping causing me to roll out of the bed. This is really annoying. Sleeping in the center is fine but in the edges is a very problematic.Anyone experienced this issue?
I experience numbness on my arms, shoulders, back, rear and legs on whichever side I lay on. With my current 8 inch foam mattress I just sink almost down to the wooden base. Any area of my body I lay on with any pressure goes partly numb from sinking into the mattress. What kind of spring or hybrid mattress offers the best support to prevent sinking too far, but is still soft enough to not add more pressure causing numbness? What other suggestions do you have for finding a mattress supportive enough but not too firm?
I want to make my own homemade matress about 20cm...what kind of foam must i buy?i want 3-4 different foam numbers in that matress...what type of foam or what number of foam must i have to make this?i want to make one matress not very hard or very soft, but normal ....
My Serta with a single coil spring is the best bed I ever had. I notice his opening conclusion does not match what he says. This is a paid advertisement. Since only individual coils are supporting the person, all the weight is going right there, and not distributed evenly across all the coils. Think about it.
Pockets springs are purely crap. Bring back the continuous coil springs! The biggest issue with independent pocket springs is that your upper back is heavier than your head, so when your back sinks in, the head would not. That creates a non-continuous surface, and all that pressure ends up going to you neck/upper spine. It absolutely destroys your neck. Memory foam mattresses have the same issue as well. The continuous coil spring never had that problem as your upper torso sinks in with your head, creating a flat continuous surface and does not leave the pressure on your neck.
I think the pockets springs are sew , so they will broken because of the weight of the body . The traditional coil springs are really good because their system. I have one mattress coil springs 11 years old in perfect condition to use it.
I hate pocket spring mattress ive tried three different ones and am ready to get rid of another one. I need the traditional bonnel spring mattress back
I agree, they are dogshit....Bonnel coil is lowkey a really good feel. Much more give...pocket springs are firm asf, even in a soft tension, and to make them soft they have to add something worse, like Latex or micro coils to keep the material loft high, not so in an open coil....they are just better imo....
Memory foam sinks down while you are laying on it.... essentially it's like sleeping on an old mattress with worn out springs, creating a dip in the bed.. when you stand up..the foam rises.. but when you lay on it, you're laying in a dip. I replaced my worn out bed, with a dip, and got anew memory foam......but now I'm still laying in a dip
Thanks for explaining, now this is the type of mattress, 🛏️ I prefer, I had read online of the dangerous chemicals ☠️ in foam You can even smell the polyurethane.. 👃.. people need to look up the chemicals 📰 in foam before spending thousands of dollars, 💰 I can recall back in the day they also used raw cotton ☁️ in mattresses that had the bare box coil spring that when you lay down it would squeak, If I could find one like that, and the old pillow cases with blue stripes, stuffed with feathers, 🪶 that you have to get dye cleaned by the cleaner's 😍
First night sleep on a shakespeare 3000 sprung pocket medium firm mattress incredible i started crying when i woke up i never had comfort nor sleep like this was truely amazing cant wait to go bed tonight
I prefer memory foam because my old spring mattress caused me so much pain and aches throughout my entire body whereas the foam mattresses are so much comfier and don't have springs pushing into your back in your sleep
The thing that commonly causes back pain after sleeping is not laying flat and a mattress that is too soft, so you bought a mattress that is both very soft and has your imprint in it permanently?!
Memory is the worst thing that happened to mattresses. After a while your foam mattress will be uneven and you will develop back pain and discomfort. I threw away mine after 3 months.
