Hi hope ur ok ! I been getting fit notes since last year and I’m on universal credit I only get £295 a month and is not enough to live on what can I do to get enough money to live on plz thanks
Hi Anna, sorry I haven't watched this video but I wanted to thank your for your insights after watching your negotiated exit video. I'm currently going through a situation work that's definitely keeping me up at night. Bullying at the company I work at is rife and local solicitors don't seem to want to give advice without a hefty fee upfront. I was wondering if you could do a video on time served and the ins and out of temp to perm contracts and what rights a worker may have if there is no break period (finishing Friday, start Monday), between finishing contract with an agency and starting employment with the main company. With the job, responsibilities and hours being exactly the same. Thank you 😊
My employer has literally ignored me and when speaking to my union, I have been ignored for 12 months and now just want to give me 3 months, there is no leeway from them and I'll be honest the union is shit and want me to accept the first offer (which took 6 months then they delayed until a year later). I haven't be given anything else, the school are just that bad.
Thanks for posting all your informative videos. They helped me to win my case of constructive dismissal. I can't express my appreciation enough for you giving up your time to offer up advice. God bless 🙌
Will be interested to hear you talking about adjustments that should be made in other relationships generally ie age and mental health and government departments ie HMRC a key public service ignore what is written and published on their own site. Employees appear to be largely ignorant about the Act when dealing with the public who qualify for the protection the Act gives even though the public make them aware from the onset of the transaction
HI there I have been very stress because I have been harassed by the business manager due to my chronic back pain. I have been working for this school for 11 years. I have an issue going with the business manager in this work place. She and One Education have been harassing me a lot about why I can't do this, what medication do I take. They ask a lot about the same thing during the AMR meetings. This has been going on since 2021. It is on going meeting. They have been trying to make me stress and hope that I will leave. Every time after meeting their outcome report is not the same as what had happened in the meetings. The last incident that she had a formal complain about me of asking someone in the work place about her. I went for a meeting and I got stress after that meeting. Next day I went off sick. I have been sick for 2 months now. My doctor gave me sicknote for stress and anxiety. My employer asked my union to pass me a message saying that they propose to end my contract by end of August and offer two months payments. I have only just been sick for 2 months. Can they offer to end my contract? There is no welfare call of trying to get me back to work. When I heard that they want to end my contract, it makes me more stress and anxiety. I keep worrying that they are going to dismiss me.
My doctors won't dispense my meds as I live within a mile and the local pharmacy is supposed to supply but their car park is so uneven and dangerous to me on crutches and charge £60 6 months to deliver which one I can't afford and 2 if an emergency arrives lost meds etc I have to collect. The car park is literally like a bomb site. I've there fore asked GP practice if they can dispense as it's state of tge art and has disabled parking. They are saying no due to legal restraints under competition and Marketing authority as they will be pi ching a customer. Do I have a case, where can I go?
Dear Maam, After submitting SAR application, I found that mistakenly I answered NO to the question "do I have passport". Is that going to be any problem to get my SAR from Home office ? Thanks
I'm struggling with work I've given two doctors notes in and a letter off a specialist. Asking for less time on the tills die to the pain it causes me but they have been ignored and been told that my job is 80% tills what do I expect. I suffer from slipped discs and chronic pain and my health has gotten worse and I'm being test for many things as I'm Ill. They have helped a disabled worker as she's a women but they ignore mine.
Hello Lee, yes I do take on cases but you have to contact me from my website www.refreshinglawltd.co.uk or 02920 599993. My charges are £250 + VAT per hour.
Exactly this. I am in consultation period and will potentially be made redundant. I wondered what would happen if I just "walked" given the circumstances. It's rather frustrating to see that it could have financial implications on me beyond that of not receiving my paycheck.
I like to think I have a case. My employer claims he didn't know about my disability and dismissed me. He didn't do any investigation, didn't give me any warnings, didn't ask for medical history etc. I like to think that amounts to constructive knowledge? Not only that but my absences were clearly due to illness relating to my disability
I been put on furlough, July, August some staff call back, I been told not enough work. Near furlough skim end last year work performance, attendance base on that deside to make redundant. Not enough work . What can I say?
Hello I have a question? I was a state employee that was wrongfully terminated. I just had my 1st mediation through the Union. The mediator favored my side. What should I expect. I didn’t have legal representation either but I still won. The employer seemed very adamant about rehiring me too. What’s next or to be expected? Thank you
