I have since gotten that on DVD as I got older and Got my DVD set for my Bedroom TV. The Wizard of Oz Was the next MGM show I saw.
@@lorrainemcmahon969 No, it wasn't. There were 100 people on that set, and the electricians in the overhead catwalks had a bird's-eye view, so there was no chance of anything so stupid as that happening.
It was just an ordinary sarus crane borrowed from the Los Angeles Zoo. Mind you, it put the wind up Ray Bolger! It lunged at him once, thinking that the straw in his jacket looked yummy! LOL
