The flaw with Krauser in both versions of RE4 Mercs is Wesker's kit is WAY more consistent. Wesker gets pistol/mag/sniper for his loadout, plus Wesker has the best QTE attacks in both games bar maybe HUNK. Krauser's bow is good but harder to use than Wesker's kit and less versatile. He got a SMG for variety in remake but it's just ok. IN OG RE 4 I do think Krauser was the best cause he was the only character with an insta kill on all enemies (Even Super Salv). OG Krauser could transform and dash forward killing everything in his way, and then that ability went on a cooldown timer. Mayhem Mode being added made Krauser no longer unique. His one major advantage was he was the best boss killer/screen wiper. Now every character can do that, and Krauser's weapon selection is still just ok. Made Wesker the defacto number one.
what i do is not shoot and parry the entire round and your guage builds up way quicker everytime u parry and i spam the mayhem mode wesker is ridiculous but u got learn how to master parry
