My parents started my brother and I at Dodge when I was 7 in 1967. Although we skied other places, Dodge was always closer to home, so whenever the conditions were good, we would go there. I started my son on skis at Dodge in 1995. Needless to say, I have a very strong attachment to the place. I was there last Thursday and the conditions were absolutely stellar. I enjoyed your footage. I was blown away w/ the new technology they installed this year. Very cool! All the best to you and your family.
I grew up in ceres and then modesto and we would do Christmas tree lane in Ceres every year. Our whole family left California now and I do miss my Christmas Tree Lane. I've never seen anything that holds a candle to it here in Iowa. Thanks for posting this with the same wonderful excitement in your childrens' voices as I had as a kid. Love and Merry Christmas. ❤

You are lucky to break those THIN boards I finally tested for my next belt. I had to break a board that was almost an inch thick with a palm strike somehow and one try. I was able to break it now I am an advanced white belt
As as someone who has been going to Pismo Coast Village since childhood I can tell you this is one of the best videos I've seen. You truly captured the essence of the area. What was those wooden things called? I think they used to be an obstacle course of some sort for older kids and young adults. Asking because I want to take some friends and want to know if it’s up and running
