This is obviously humor but has more validity then might be first thought . Boy George even tells the story in his 1995 autobiography Take It Like A Man that was published 3 years before George Michael was outed by his arrest of a night he was at New York's dance club Palladium with George Michael and Brooke Shields when they were " dating ". BG recalled his enjoyment of repeatedly whispering to Brooke " He's a poof ! " throughout the night but he sensed Brooke was confused by it because as an American she didn't understand the British idiom for being gay. He somewhat lightly brushed it off in the book as him just being devilish with Brooke but later with GM's arrest it became clear that he was intentionally outing GM both to Brooke and his readers by telling that particular story. BG clearly already knew GM was closeted and most likely his habit of cruising while keeping GF's for beards in the public eye . BG as a openly gay man was clearly not happy that GM was being majorly dishonest. GM himself would later admit that him continuing in having sexual relations with women while knowing he was gay was indeed a form of major dishonesty. BG was rather like a evil fairy though in that he took rather vicious bitchy delight in trying to out GM whenever possible....even in his own autobiography.
English people should avoid trying to do Irish accents - Geldof was from Dublin, not Northern Ireland and Bono has a transatlantic accent if anything - the plot of the sketch is funny though

This was perfect!!! Boy george was to die for and george trying to be macho... its funny as now that i see old interviews with george, you can tell but when your 10 you did not care.. all you saw was a tanned greek god in his choose life shirt with his hot best friend...
