The music lives on! A solid group a solid performance, wow ---------- I dig the reverb on the flute (<grin>) and 2 basses just like how Bobby Bradford & John Carter preferred
What a wonderful group of talented musicians who've all managed to agree to focus on this music... A wonderful resurrection?... homage?... Your musics transports one to that mad, beautiful Paris cafe culture that just had to survive the chaos and horrors of the 20th century by playing/sharing music, providing a moments distraction, a respite from harsh reality. I'm from Virginia and really regret that I can't manage to get to see you guys live. Sad that there are likely many equally talented unsung local bands that will fail to gain the notoriety (or renumeration) they richly deserve. Keep playing and getting posted on RU-vid Djangophonique!

The Nord IS modeling the B3. Touring with ‘authentic’ Hammonds is chancy at best. Nord product has succeeded in the recording and performance because PROFESSIONALS demand it. You want Farfisa or Rhodes? Nord gets closer than anyone. You’re all cattle & no hat. All I’m hearing is you’ve never played and got paid.
Fuck yeah! My boy and I have been waiting for this one. Gonna see them at Hoxeyville in a minute. Thanks! I missed Friday, but I'm thinking this was the best set of the festival. It's the best set of live music I have seen a good while.
Back in 1966 when Mitch released Jenny Take a Ride and Devil With The Blue Dress and Mo Mo Jane some said Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels was the best band in the world (rock band?) and who the heck is this guitarist on the right, other feller purty good too!!!!!! on Voodoo Chile
Geez....lookit that grey-haired elderly gal right in front of MItch in the light purpleish top, dancing. Good God, she moves like a 25 yr. old. I can tell that gal was one hellova catch when she was a kid. Hell....she's cool now! Go Granny. I'm right behind you at 68 attm.
Love this guy since his appearance on Rockpalast (German TV live show) in 1979 (the year I graduated from school). Saw him live in Flensburg (1981), in Berlin (1993?) and in Freiburg (2003?). He always gives all he´s got! Thanks so much for loading up this gem!
Having known him since the 60's I wouldn't necessarily say that exactly. He is very cool, but not in the ways you suggest. Is also one of biggest assholes I know! Love him despite it anyways. It's a love/hate thing - just who he is, beyond genius IQ for sure, (Very under-estimated man, & artist). Besides my parents, my greatest life roll model & influence (not necessarily a "good thing") - it is, what it is. If HE says something is HOT, THEN "IT" IS! PERIOD! R & R. He'll be 79 in 2 weeks, can't believe we survived this long - either of us! "Naked, but not dead" - yet..... Feb. 2024.
