I had watched 1 other video and then found yours. It was extremely clear and direct. Got me wired up in about 5 minutes. Thank you very much for the very helpful video!
Wanted to learn the difference between a composter and digester, however your description is completely inaccurate. Absolutely anything biological can go into a compost pile. I have lived in the woods by entire life and have seen 700 lb animals compost. Bones and all...
@@GreenMountainDIYGuy It usually comes from a grounded GFI outlet or directly from the breaker box. So theres ports for line and load on the timer, you look at the diagram and there's other videos on here. I wired 3 boxes already, it's not that difficult. Buy a line tester so you don't get electrocuted. There's nothing color about this unit.

Hey how is this geospring heat pump working now? Is it still in service? I found a company that still has some of these in stock, they seem better than the rheem that is sold at homedepot. THANKS
Great video. I want to do the same. Is the black tubing cheaper than PVC? Does it hold up to dirt/soil better? I've seen other videos where people run PVC the entire length underground.
Can you make another video of you with your shirt off doing something in the pool so we can get an idea of what it would really look like on a normal day to day situation please?
I know this is an old video - it is super helpful to me. But I have a question re the size of pump (volume per minute or hour) that would make sense with this unit without a speed controller. I intend to use a diverter or a splitter valve to divert water back to the pool once the sweet spot is hit, i.e., right volume going through the coil to achieve an optimal temp coming out. Just wondering about the pump hp that would be recomended - half hp, one hp, one and a half? or what volume per minute or hour would be my best choice. Thanks
Great question, pump size doesn't matter as you are moving thermal mass. Whether you move water faster (cooler) or slower (hotter) it is the same them thermal mass.
Black & Decker?!! I am reminded of the salsa commercial where the cowboys are sitting around the camp fire and the salsa is FROM NEW YORK CITY? I really like your base. The best thing to do is dump 1/2 a bag add water, and slosh a bit; gets rid of air and dry spots. Last year winterizing the sand filter, I took a butter tub and scooped the sand out into cat litter buckets (two) from my 18", 75 pound set up, and then scooped it back in the spring. I have been using the teflon putty, which is WAY better than the teflon tape. So far it looks good, but will be looking forward to a quality update down the road. My 26ft x 52in install is in the final engineering, and I will be prepping the ground within the month, 15,000 gallons 🙂 Go big or go home.
