It can get pretty rambunctious if a large amount of snow accumulates and multiple days of rain come as it's melting.

Dude looks great. I’m currently building one similar except I’m using this beautiful Japanese cedar tongue and groove I managed to find for dirt cheap. And it sits on the bed instead of a slide in. It’s craaaaazy how much money the ones for sale are, especially considering how shoddily they’re built

Thanks. I built it a year ago and have since put about 7k miles on it, 5k was a trip to Yellowstone and grand Tetons. Has held up very well. Good luck! Cedar is beautiful on these.

I went to Linville Falls shortly after Hurricane Ivan rolled through in 2005. I have never seen anything like it. The river had risen so high that there were trees pushed over by the weight of the water, and there was a full-size picnic table stuck 20 feet up in a tree.
