Jianzheng was suspected of poisoning the knife so if he delivered the antidote, wouldn't Shiming's supporters argued that he indeed poisoned Shiming since he and nobody else had the antidote. Why didn't Yuanji tell Jianzheng that Hongxian was the one to save Rouxi when Yuanji was sent to assassinate her.
Yuanji was smart for once since he suspected that the previous enemy's subordinates poisoned the knife but Jiancheng overwhelmed by his suspicion against Shiming did not follow this line of thought.
