I was very excited about these until I figured out for 35$ more you can get 20CV with ultem scales from knife center. I’ve wanted a shark lock Demko since they released and were supposed to be sub 100$ but that never happened, These got me excited but I still won’t pick one up 😢
Just got the militaw from Kizer because I wanted a titanium frame lock and a front flipper so two birds with one stone. Thankfully it has a thumb hole but I really want to get good with the front flipper.
I like this knife, Looks like a mini Becker BK7 with Esee style jimping. I really like that D2 blade and the scales. If I could get it on sale or something, I would buy it. Everything is expensive here in Canada.
guys... civivi, sanremu, and other brands have a truly poor and simple level of finish and construction... at the same level as very low cost Chinese knives. clips, details, design... it's all too poor... simple in a terrible way. I'm not saying they're not good, but that they're terribly poor.
I love this knife but it's just slightly too big for me as an EDC . Currently use a kershaw leek which I like the overall size but the weight on this at 4.5 oz is still making me think of grabbing it. Just might be a bit big of keep on my hip. Change my mind this money is burning a hole in my pocket.... If I get it I'm getting wood Damascus
Awesome sneak peek at a sick knife but (especially when you say it's a big knife) I would appreciate the blade length. For many people that is the most important spec to know.
Great Review! I'm planning to get the Ritual Compact with the upgraded Damascus blade. I love Persian style blades - not as functional, but so cool looking! IF I DECIDE TO MOVE TO SAUDI ARABIA AND START MY OWN HAREM - THIS WILL BE MY EDC!!
Hi! Great review! Mini praxis in damascus is really nice knife, but what about edge retention and quality? What is Your oppinion after 7 months after this review? I would appreciate Your oppinion. Thanx in Advance for the Answer!
Did I understand this right? You did more than 100 passes on each grit stone to sharpen the knife? I was planning to buy this and have more than dozen kitchen and EDC knifes to sharpen... It would take me like a few hours to do them all....
I bought the Damascus sokoke before they switched it to the green micarta handles, I will say I’m definitely more of a fan of the original handles, they have a subtle yet elegant pattern in the micarta
I love pulling out my Endura 4 and watching all the kids and parents gasp. My 10 year old daughter will invariably respond, "Geez, it's just a knife." ;)
