Hey, sorry about the internet. Was at my moms house still then and couldnt get anything better. Gg tho, was fun seeing this blast from the past 3 years later.
@@CJSeedge yeah but most titles don't mean a thing to me. I'm not a steam player only switch. and 99.9% of titles i checked out were crap, and half the demos I downloaded were crap too.
I appreciate you watching it through :) if you haven't seen, I've uploaded quite a few TLOU Montages over the years. Search my channel for Montage and you'll have a few more to see :D
The problem with running past enemies is having even a vague idea of where you're running *to*. Everything in Scorn looks so similar and slimy it's hard to tell where you've been, where you're going, and what you even need to do to progress.
Boltcaster is great! Keeps up in power damage, the reload can be a nuisance on occasion but you wanna win most fights in one turn and prevent them shooting back *anyway*, so it's not a massive problem.
Just so you all know, most fighting encounters can be avoided entirely. Many enemies that spawn have a predetermined route and will leave the environment if you wait.
I did encounter a few enemies that seemingly despaired into the walls, but they'd inevitably respawn behind me and hurt me. I also often didn't know if I'd be retracing my steps or pushing on, and ammo was always more readily available than health. I don't think I ever had 8 pips of healing at any point in the whole game.
I think id play it just to see how the developers intended to match resource management with gameplay. I think what they had on paper didnt line up with the execution. Id assume it was probably because they overanticipated for a game with low budget. They only had so much to work with for a £45 game. The graphics do look fairly decent though i love the environment and the alien- esque health and weapon system. Something ive never seen before in a video game. Itd be intriguing to pick up for the sake of the story it seems. Ill try it when it goes on sale for £5 or something like that. The melee weapon does look pathetic 😂
The resource management comes simply down to "do you want to lose health or ammo now" once you actually get a gun, and ammo is so scarce you run out of ammo all the time. A 45 quid game, to pick an example entirely at random, could also be an AC Mirage...
I can't stand this awful game. Literally walk around, look at above average graphics and solve menial puzzles. The combat is horrendous too. The only reason this got positive reviews is because of the association with H.R. Giger.
I'm curious now to go see who gave it positive reviews. The style is certainly evocative of Giger but he wasn't involved, as far as I know. If they'd just stuck with puzzles, I wouldn't detest it so. I might not like it much, but I wouldn't hate it.
In the first major puzzle, after you get the egg, you can either cut the other guy out or squish him to death. I did the latter on my playthrough: this was the other way, which got me the Platinum.
I am not sure if I am getting this game, I like the scene of the game and I think it would be cool to play in a french revolution setting, but the combat is kinda the key when it comes to these games and if thats not working well then I am not sure if I want to get it :(
Well, I can attest that I had fun with the combat throughout the game. I am a big fan of Souls style games. If you like those, you'll like this. If you're worried about difficulty, there's a great range of customisation available: you can reduce the damage enemies deal all the way yo zero, if you just wanna get past a tough boss.

After recently playing this again, the #1 question I still have and it's never addressed: How does he even learn to become a master martial artist? Was he trained? Is he gifted? Why does he even need the Quiet Man alter ego if he's content on just beating everyone up effortlessly anyway? Is the mask, dark cloak, and cattle prod, all the mental courage he needs to battle his trauma?
This happend to me too... lost around 200k exp and 6 houres of progress. System: ps5 Edition: Premium digital deluxe I deletet a bunch of summon stones and exit the game after i was on the title screen. I dont play it anymore bc i dont want to lose any progress anymore. O really would like to have my money back. Issues like this are a absolutly no go. Sorry for my bad english its not my first language.
I've started doing this, now: If the game reaches the title screen, close the app, upload the save to the cloud, and start the game again. That way if it corrupts, I'll only lose onse session of play, not all of it. Sorry to hear this happened to you, buddy.
@@CJSeedge well make sure the last thing you did before close the game is playing and finishing a music stage. Thats what i learnd from reddit. I really hope square fix this... ubisoft didnt ever fix any issue with rocksmith...
I have beat the game now twice. Never had this problem before. Most problems I have is OP bosses in the end game. Sheesh they are tough as nails to kill. I mean even with infinite magic and most shards maxed out I am struggling with one boss at the end.
