While the factory did do some bodies, there were carrozzeria ("coachbuilders") that built bodies such as Farina and Touring. These coachbuilt bodies were built to owner specs, and rarely were examples exactly alike. This car closely resemble Jonathon Thompson's plans drawn from a surviving 1938 8C Mille Miglia Spyder. Sublime!!! I can't help but keep coming back to watch it again and again... What an amazing piece of machine, hats off to Paul Chaleyer and his team... sheer engineering skill & pure artistic craftsmanship...the attention to detail is more than impressive! And a wonderfully done video!
