Join me on a journey through all things gaming. Whether that’s building the ultimate gaming collection or stacking shelves full of shovelware, you’re in the right place.
With future content planned for mystery unboxings, CEX roulettes, giveaways and collaborations, as well as video game preservation, occasional semi-planned fires and dealing with nuisance neighbours, all of course with that subtle twist of Soup-of-pants-gaming humour.
I don't know if you own it already but it's one of my favourite FPS games on the 360/PS3. It's like Bioshock but with time mechanics instead. Singularity. Incredible game!
Hi. Picked it up a month or so back, haven't yet played it, but am really looking forward to giving it a go, it sure looks awesome. Many thanks for watching and happy gaming 😃
Great pickups. I love the Fall of Juarez series. Especially bound in blood. Being a big fan of cowboy western movies these games definitely appealed to me.
Nice, Dumfries & Galloway isnt a stones throw away from me. My mother-in-law is from Wigtown 👍 Crash Nitro Kart is a banger 👌 Not a fan of MP8, MP2 is our fav. Superstars is ace also on the switch. Found you through the legend FeedMeChicken 👍
That's awesome, I've been to Wigtown, just not this last time 😃 Must confess I got rid of MP1 & 2 on N64 due to fear of controller damage! I should probably check out Superstars sometime. @feedmechicken - Legend! 😁 Many thanks and happy gaming.
Just found your channel. Some nice pick ups there. While watching your vid, your speed viewing made my eyes spin 🤣 I could hardly make out the title names 🤣 looks like a cool store though
Many thanks mate and thank you for the feedback. I'm pretty new to this and definitely need to get better at filming the shelves! Happy gaming, now go have a lay down! 🤣
Great question! I think for a long time much of the 360 catalogue was undervalued. However at the moment with the closure of the online store coming, I think we have overinflated prices of common games due to the hype and FOMO it’s created. After the store closes and everyone realises it’s not the end of the world I can see a lot of the prices falling, but probably not as low as they were in the past. I’m sure there’ll be a few exceptions and some of the more uncommon games will likely continue to climb whilst there’s still interest in collecting them. I too hope the prices fall as it gives more people a chance to experience some of the best games from one of the greatest console generations of all time. Many thanks for watching and supporting the channel, happy gaming 😃
Pretty sure the purple copy of futurama was a game (shop) release exclusive. A little bit rarer and more sought after. Hopefully you traded in the other 😅
Video's like this is exactly why i never order on CEX online and only go in the shops. They definitely are not trustworthy online. That sucks about front mission evolved. Great game i must say. The only genuine bad experience i had was when i bought a copy of manga carta 2 on the 360. The guy was insistent it was a single disc game and when i corrected him he kept looking away being all awkward lol. And the other time was buying the complete edition of mafia 2 with the DLC install disc. They tried to claim its all on the disc itself. When i corrected them they said they didn't have the DLC disc So i left the game. They lied to me basically. And i even said don't lie to me again. I know my stuff when it comes to gaming.
I wish I could pick everything up locally, but I'm far too impatient to wait for it to show up in my local stores. You just near on gave me a seizure, I didn't remember Magna Carta 2 being two disk and went into panic mode before I could check it! But yes, two disks, I can breathe now! You certainly do know your stuff 😆
Thanks mate. Yeah, I went with 3, considering a lot of games are more expensive then they were a year back, the chance of me doing 5 complete that I actually want to play seemed slim to non. So many reprinted covers there too!
Nice selection of pickups matey. I've always enjoyed the wrath of cortex. From when it first came out right to this day. It was exciting at the time of release. Especially during that period of seeing established PS1 games making the next gen leap to PS2. I think people were just salty about wrath of cortex not being developed by naughty dog. I kinda get it but the game was still just as fun as the original trilogy.
Thanks mate. Crash was never my favourite franchise to be honest, but I've liked all the games I've played no matter the developer, it's nice to get some of them back in the collection. I'll have to give Wrath of Cortex another go sometime soon 😃
Thanks mate. It seems so much harder finding decent stuff at good prices in the wild these days. 99% of the time there's nothing, but it's such a buzz on the rare times I do. The Wii bag was mainly full of Zumba, dance and workout type stuff unfortunately, the box was a right mix of PS1/PS2, plenty of decent(ish) lower end stuff I left behind too. I wish Hit and Run wasn't the platinum! 😂
@@soupofpantsgaming yeah don't find a lot out in the wild these days, helps when you're just looking for anything to flip as well. Means you usually come away with a dvd or two 😅 yeah I traded in my hit & run on the PS2 as I have it on GameCube but I paid 99p for it in a cash generators many years ago. The GameCube copy came out a charity shop for 99p as well come to think of it 🤔
@@TechTucker Nice, I have so little Gamecube stuff left, haven't found any in the wild for years! I should probably look for more stuff to flip, have already moved on my old platinum copies of Rayman and Tomb Raider, will be keeping that Hit and Run though as I know I shouldn't have got rid of the last copy I had! 😅
Great topic. Definitely hard to narrow down lol. But my top 10 desert island games would have to be. 1- Nights into dreams on Sega Saturn. 2- Resident evil 4 Wii edition. 3- Tomb Raider 2013 Xbox 360. 4- Etrian oddysey nexus on Nintendo 3DS 5- Grand theft auto 3 for Playstation 2. 6- Alex Kidd in miracle world dx on Switch. 7- Full Void on Evercade. 8- Doom 2016 Xbox one. 9- Super mario world on snes. 10- Tetris on Gameboy.
Awesome list there, just the one crossover. I could have given a hundred honourable mentions! 😄 Resi 4 was close for me. GTA3, good shout, personally prefer San Andreas, but most of my mates tell me Vice City is better, but I don't see it! I probably should have mentioned Tetris too! Thanks so much for watching and posting, happy gaming 😀
@@soupofpantsgaming lol to many great choices but they would definitely keep me preoccupied for a long time. As much as I like vice city and San Andreas. 3 and 4 have always been my favourite. 3 was just unlike anything else back when in first came out. When I wasn't playing through the story i was just Taking turns with friends causing as much chaos as possible before we got wasted lol. Fun times
Brilliant game that venetica. I was always a big fan of the 360 era western action RPGs. Other ones being Bound by Flame. The cursed crusade. Of orcs and men. Two worlds. Two word's 2. Risen 1 2 and 3. Divinity 2 the dragon night saga. Arcania gothic 4. Just to name a few. My next question to narrow it down. Is it developed by a Japanese studio.
Yeah, I really need to get back to Venetica, it's been a few days now. Have some of the games you mentioned, but most are on my backlog. It always scares me starting new RPGs because of the time needed to properly appreciate them. I start way too many games without finishing them! Another great question, thanks again 😃
@@soupofpantsgaming oh I know what you mean. I certainly don't want to juggle a bunch of RPGs. Oh the never ending backlog. Beat one game and two more come along. Lol.
@@nomadlonestar8004 I dread to think how long my backlog would actually take to complete, but I've come to terms with the fact I'll likely never get to everything 😅
Fantastic video, lol. i bought 2 copies of venetica 1 year ago for £3-4 each on eBay and just traded one yesterday at cex, but my second copy had no manual. Thank god you didn't order that one 😂
Great pickups matey. Such a shame we never got any more Full auto games. I like the fact that both of them are exclusive to each platform. My first question regarding the competition. Was the game released sometime in the 00s. 2000 / 2009.
I always thought it was a bit odd they were exclusives on two rival consoles, mad pleased to have them both in the collection now. Great first question, will defo answer that in the coming video, thanks for playing along 😁
Awesome video and great pickups! I regret leaving a copy of Fatal Intertia as well in cex 😅 was about £5 at the time I saw it. Full Auto is a game I see frequently and always think I have it... Just checked and I don't! So I need to snag one up next time I see it 😅 awesome video Soup 🍲
Many thanks mate, really appreciate it. I used to see Full Auto about a lot but around my way I think it's becoming a little more scarce recently. Definitely worth giving it a go if you're at all into combat racing games 😃 Wasn't sure whether to bin off Fatal Inertia, but to be honest £38 is decent RPG money! 😅
Great pickups matey. Yeah full auto definitely comes with a manual. It's one of the earlier 360 games. Most games after 2012 started to phase out Manuel's sadly. Nuts and bolts is a game I could never get into. Definitely one of most disappointing games I ever played. Rare should of Just made it a true 3D platformer like the previous games. It would of easily been one of the best games on the 360 easily.
That's cool, I figured it should have one, still really pleased to add it to the collection. I very vaguely remember trying Nuts and Bolts back in the day, I'm guessing I had a similar experience to yourself and binned it off back then, keen to give it another chance now though 😃I really wish Rare would reboot a load of their old IPs, but I guess it's not really the same Rare as it was back then. As always, thanks for the support, it's truly appreciated 😁
Top video mate! Think i own all of these, all great games. Disnhonoured is on my top 10 games of all time and id 100% recomend it to people who never gave it a go!
Halo combat evolved is definitely my favourite entry in the series. Especially the anniversary edition. Oh I love dishonored. Takes me back to 2012. Definitely one I want to play through again. Fable 2 is such a great game. Forza horizon will forever be my favourite entry in the Series. Can't go wrong with bioshock and dead space. Alan Wake is definitely my favourite Xbox 360 game of all time. I wish I could play most of my 360 games again with a fresh new memory. Definitely one of my favourite systems of all time. Love that Alex Kidd in miracle world picture. Hence my RU-vid profile picture :). First video game I ever played in 1991 on my master system 2.
I got so nostalgic making this, I know I'm going to have to go back through so many of the games. My memory is pretty bad, so second play throughs can almost feel like firsts if I leave them long enough! I grew up on the Master System and still love it to this day, will be touching on it with future planned content 😃 Thank you for watching.
Many thanks, just checked out your channel and subbed back, some really great content there. And thanks also to @SuperSmashGamingYT for the recommendation, really means a lot 😃
Many thanks. It's great trading from time to time, helps to keep my collection feeling fresh, and in this case renew my interest in the N64, a system I've probably overlooked a little recently 😃
Glad to see you're happy with the trade! Enjoy the games, the outtakes were brilliant 😂 I got a good laugh from TechTucker's package 🤣🤣🤣 appreciate the kind words as well 🙏 awesome video, I will definitely keep tuning in ☺️
Excellent, thanks again for being so awesome through this trade and for all the help on here. Hope you enjoy the games too, you'll have to let me know what you think of them once you've played them 😃
Headed over here from techtuckers video, gave you a sub too dude 👍, ninja blade looks like a really fun game and its getting hard to find i would definitely keep it. Great first video 👍👌
@@soupofpantsgaming yes definitely keep it 👍. Ahhh thank you so much I really appreciate that 😊. No worries dude looking forward to watching more of your videos 👍
Great debut video matey. Had to sub out of support. Discovered you from tech tucker. Love the Xbox 360. One of my favourite consoles of all time. With over 700 games it has the largest number of games in my whole collection. I really need to replay ninja blade. I think I was originally put off by the from software level of difficulty. I might feel different when I eventually give it another go. Keep up the good content matey :). Always good to see a new collector on the RU-vid scene.
Many thanks. The Xbox 360 is one of my favourites too. 700! that sounds like an awesome collection, I've probably got about a third of that, I should probably count them sometime! Ninja Blade is definitely worth a second look, I died a couple of times missing the QTEs in the cinematic bits, but the combat felt pretty good, that said, I'm only an hour in and imagine it gets harder the further you get. 😃
@@soupofpantsgaming lol i certainly ended up building up quite the collection since I rebought my 360 in 2011. Oh I'm sure the game does. Especially being a from software game.
Nice list you have there. My nostalgia for Naughty Bear comes from watching my brother playing it when I was 10 or something 🤣 awesome video, I'll keep an eye out for some of those titles for you as well 😄 enjoy your sense of humour, keep it up 🎮
Nice one, thanks mate, really appreciate it. Some of the 360 prices are really starting to fly up now. I just checked CEX and found Fatal Inertia has jumped to £30 from a tenner, no way worth that to me, so that may be getting a dishonourable discharge from the list! 😆
Enjoyed this video, was a nice chilled vibe! Nice pickups, although I have ninja blade not played it. Grabbed it as it was cheap 😅 in my teenage years I torched a few copies of truth or lies cause it was funny. Destroyed a dvd copy of Dragonball evolution with a hatchet cause the film was that bad 🤣 set fire to something sometime I'll get a laugh from it! Jokes aside awesome video looks forward to seeing more
