Meanwhile an actual drill team member reads this comment. Except I graduated a couple years back so I was a part of it until senior year. Don't lie sweetie, you look 10 years old.
Even though that girl dropped her pom pom, it's admirable that she still went with the routine. That gets you extra points with judges in competitions.
thats really mean. This is my first year as a cheer leader, and I cannot tumble, at all. We only have one girl who could actually tumble. (Though we can do stunts, just basic.) They might just have a bad coach that won't teach them how too, or maybe they just didn't want to but it in this choreography. There might be plenty of reasons, why they don't include stunts/ tumbling.
can you read? 'drill team' a drill team is not the same as cheerleading, sure they wore the same kind of uniform but a drill team is not to perform a cheer a dance drill team creates routines based on precision dance movements. So maybe next time research and dont be so rude to people.
Are you kidding me!?!? Dancers are not cheerleaders. I have danced for over 12 years and cannot even do a cartwheel. However my team has won nearly every year at competition. Cheer is about spirit, while dance is about choreography and precision. They don't want to be cheerleaders at all, they have different motives and moves. I agree that you should learn what a drill team is before you criticize them.
