Thanks getting back into the swing of things so videos should be starting to come back and ive spent the last couple weeks watching the others and realizing how dry they were improvements coming on videoing im trying lol 😆
yooo my my hoodie's zipper piece got stuck in the buckle and now my belt is stuck in there 🥲suprised to see a similar piece of the hoodie getting stuck in yours too lol I am going to try to fix it
okay I successfully did it but how do you clip the outer part in, it can’t get fixed in with me. I only removed the first part I left the other one in.
Thank you. Just today I found a spring put of the buckle. Couldn't put it in. It's a minor thing as I can put on the seat belt just fine (mostly) but the car kept beeping saying i wasn't using one. I'll disassemble it tomorrow and put it back. Thanks!
i had the exact same thing happen (metal piece of hoodie string fell into seat belt buckle) I have a 2021 mini cooper S. Resolved by: removing the 2 screws facing the seat, the whole black cover comes off easily after that. the 2 screws are "security screws" so regular phillips screw driver couldn't get it
There was some cloth stuck in mine this video gave me the confidence to cut my flashlight on and get to digging before I have to remove the housing. I got the cloth out thank you for this video!
I GREATLY APPRECIATE this video! I curse the design engineer who positioned the seatbelt buckle so far down in the area next to the console...I have to fight the thing down into the area and feel around a while, finally getting it in and feeling a sigh of relief when it finzlly clicks! Then reaching deep to get out of it. I had an idea...the back seat has a seatbelt for three people. I dont carry anyone back thrre anyway, but I figured I'd leavd the two on the outside alone and rob the center buckle and plug and make an extension. The plan was, to plug it into the female buckke and then have another female buckle up, slightly above the console that would be easy to get to. I plugged it in to make sure if how high to put thd other buckle and sewed it on my clothes sewing machine. Then, got a tent and aening company to sew the overlapped strapswith gheir heavy thread. They did a beautiful job and didn't even charge me anything and wouldn't even allow me to tip them!. I was tickled. I plugged it in and it sat right there, pretty as you please!...till I went to plug the male shoulder strap into it Nd, low and behold, the tang is 3/16" shorter on the front male plug than the one in thd back seat! I'm going to see if I can eliminate some plastic, to get more depth! WHO WOULD HAVE EVEN THOUGHT there would be two different lengths, in ste same dern car!!!
Does this work with newer years like 2021? My gf dog bite it so the black cover is jamming the release on the back seat buckle , do I buy a black cover
You rock for posting, brother - just saved me $70 and the shame of bothering my service shop with something i could do on my own. 2010 Charger - figured it wss the same part (heh)
Sorry hate this video i cant see shit bcuz camera was jjerky couldnt see where exactly to put flathead "here"??? Where is here ? Now i gotta bother some1 else to help maybe charge me bcuz youre so inept couldnt have some1 hold the ff camera still !! You should press a toothpick EXACTLY where to press flathead simultaneously ZERO CAMERA SUPER CLOSE..cuz everthing looks dark ...i dont want to risk breaking it spending $ i dont have. Do it right next time or youre not helping "all of us"
Great video. Turned out my spring was broken. I simply stretched what was left of the spring and hooked it back up. Unbelievably, it actually worked. Saved me a trip to the junk yard!
