Tories have controlled Ashford since 1885, if you want the town to improve you can't keep voting for the same party and expecting things to change. Vote Labour.
@@belindawallace5203 Thank you. 🏴😊🖖 (Either way, sand or shingle, it'd be difficult for my daughter to push me in my wheelchair on either beach, and I'm not sure that I could walk far on it !)
@@brigidsingleton1596 it’s also quite a steep beach near the town but the pier is accessible and there are a few places where the beach is easier to navigate. I have mobility issues too and prefer to go up to Kingsdown or St Margaret’s if I want to sit near the sea. There are sandy beaches in Thanet and I think there’s one somewhere that you can hire a beach wheelchair but I’m not sure where.
@@belindawallace5203 Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me. I do appreciate it. (I have not been out - other to hospital appointnents - for any holidays / daytrips, _anywhere_ since Dec.1999, just prior to my divorce - Sept 2001, / and just one daytrip to Margate with my 3_offspring in May 2005 !!It's sad but true!!) My only offspring who drives, now lives in Canada, so am mostly restricted to where I can 'ride' in my w.chair - pushed by my youngest daughter, but she has rheumatoid arthritis so it's hard on her, plus the w.chair needs new tyres!! (and my health lately has not been good enough to even consider anything except Hospital Transport to & from Guys, & St.Thomas' !!) (Sorry for the life story...! 😳)🏴🇬🇧❤️🖖
@@brigidsingleton1596 I understand, it’s not easy. I do drive and I still don’t go out often, usually only for medical appointments, though I’d quite like a trip to Walmer Castle sometime, I haven’t been around the gardens there in ages - you can prebook a mobility scooter.
