This hammer method worked great for me after trying to remove my steering wheel for more than 3 weeks. I used it on my 2013 Nissan Frontier. I even broke a gear puller before using the hammer. Thanks very much for posting this video.
Pls help mine was saying the same thing maintenance required the entire time after starting the car. I replaced the coolant bypass valve like what you did and now the maintenance required light only comes on now when I turn the AC on. Pls help
There are two different valves, one is near the valve cover and the other is near the transmission. I have only seen the one near the valve cover cause this issue but the other valve could also cause it. They are both coolant bypass valves and function the same way, it is possible that you have the other failing.
@@jussbj if the shift linkage is connected and moving when you move the shifter you might have a transmission problem. That shift linkage needs to be checked. Hope this helps
The main difference between a 1959 and a 1960 Chevy is that the ‘59 has those cat eye tail lights and for 1960 they laid down those fins a little bit and gave it multiple round tail lights…..that’s the easiest way to tell them apart.
They wanted $936 after my extended warranty! Come to find out Toyota was charging 3 hours for labor time and my warranty company says their labor time shows .9 hours for repairs. Needless to say, I'm taking my car to my neighborhood mechanic
The amount of labor they are charging doesn’t seem right. I will say that some of those prices can be different from warranty to customer pay. Often times warranty will not pay enough to complete the repair and they adjust it when it comes to customer pay. But the labor still seems excessive.

Hi, just wanted to say thank you for posting this video. My cousin and I just finished installing the part on my 2021 Camry, and after running my BlueDriver scan tool, I no longer have the Engine Maintenance Required warning on my dash. I also ran the a/c, which would set off the warning, and the light didn't return. The electrical clip on the coolant bypass valve was hard for me to get off at first, thinking that I needed to press the sides and not the front to release it. 🤔 Then getting the value out of the hose was a beast, so I had to call in my cousin for reinforcements. 😂 I purchased my part (listed as a heater control valve on AutoZone) for $80 plus tax, and it arrived within 2 business days. Again, thanks because I definitely didn't have $700-800 to spare, and I'm somewhat allergic to dealerships.
There’s a fellow over here in England, widening a model Y by 3-4 inches massive amount of work. Also he is going to put a Daimler hemi engine init with a blower. Enjoyed cheers from over the pond.
