Low tiers are the BEST, any game I play I always looks at low tiers or least played. Not only will you impress people but there’s sooooo much you can do you can even get creative with them too. Take Roshi for an example this man has a lot of variety in his kit and an option for almost everything and even though he doesn’t have a super dash, he has a lot of good buttons and specials, it’s all about the lab-ing and practice with low tiers!
I was definitely considering doing more guides, but unfortunately Yamcha's the only character I'm truly competent with. Though if you want to learn Majin Buu I'd highly recommend checking out his page on dustloop.com I think it has some links to a guy called Shadowsavant0 who does a lot of individual videos on how to play him.
This is one of the best guide vids ive seen, im suprised its 1 for the best character in db Yamcha, and 2 from such a small channel, great work you are really skilled and talented good luck in the future 👍
Info about the new patch: Yamcha's 5m is invulnerable to any attack during the startup, this property doesn't do much to help him unfortunately and is kinda niche. There's probably some spark reads you can do with it but not much else.. 5h got the same buff for the entirety of his backflips which is weird but more useful than the last one, still niche but some attacks like vegito 5m suffer against it. Universal buff to beams is kind of cool, opens up easier corner loops and j2h or jh rejumps but combo damage wasn't really yam's biggest issue. Go check out @rauofthedawn on twitter he's got some nutty combos and optimizations Assist buffs, just some quality of life stuff, A is still the best. Thanks for reading, at least i don't have to remake this :) (Until they patch the game again, damn you bandai)
I disagree, I think the buff is better than people think it is. It definitely is very situational, and match up specific, but it has been doing wonders for me. People have to respect Yamcha's solo mix now and it works fantastically against defensive options like guard cancel and dp's all while being safe.
As a yamcha main in current year i really appreciate this video. Older guides are just filled with holes these days and it took me forever to figure out how to lvl1 into spirit bomb because of that. Thanks for the comprehensive updated guide.
@@doot4870 it'll definitely give me a lot to incorporate into my game. Not quite at the level of a lot of the stuff in this but that probably makes it more helpful tbh
Damn bro, this seriously is TinyTorgue level I have a few nitpicks with some of the transitions being too long or some gags/cutscenes lasting a little too much, but damn, that use of the Mumen Rider speech and the actual guide itself is top notch. Great work, dude
Fantastic guide! Yamcha's corner lv3 is still very scary in the corner and good ol' WFF rekka still gets people online looking for that crossup. Here's to the wolf fang fist master!
