The perforated metal mesh grille is a real departure for Bburago.. I’ve been quite vocal about this for the last few years so this feature is very much welcome.. looks less like a toy now as that feature alone has elevated the model at least up to HWE level! The support struts is another positive move but we’ve already seen that on the earlier SP1.. if they could trim the hinges & also add struts for the hood/bonnet/frunk that would be another bonus.. by the way, that box is awesome! 🎉

Can I consider the LP700-4 from Welly FX or Lamboghini Reventon from Bburago? What do you think about this model? Please excuse my lack of experience. Thank you.
I really enjoyed your video and have used this video to help mod my Sian. My only problem is that all of my tabs looked melted or something. I own three spare Sian 1/18 models for parts but they are never clean like yours.
Hi, for the paint i used a custom mix (50%+50%) (tamiya acrylic flat red XF-7 with ethyl alcohol 90%) and fine layers, letting it dry for a minute between layers. For the carbon fiber i used decal water by Scale MotorSport SKU 1012
Hello and thank you for the great video. I just learned about this video and technique now. I would like to ask you, this process of polishing is removing layers of the clear coat or going into the painted base coat? If it is going into the painted base coat, does this mean the model will need to be clear coated again after this process to seal and protect the model’s paint? And how do you know if you are still in the clear coat layer or have gone into paint layer?
Hi, first at all, thanks for your comment. There are 2 situations, first the painting had a layer of varnish (in this case, if during the process not much varnish was removed, a new layer will not be needed). You know it's already gone through the paint layer when the color starts to appear. Second (this particular modelcar), Seconf, painting does not have varnish (paint and glossy), in this case there is not much risk of damaging the painting, you can apply polish directly it will remove the layers
@@PenrysCarsDiecast Thanks for that information, really appreciate it. So I understand now about the first situation with first the painting and then layer of varnish. But for the second situation and for this particular model in the video, do you mean there is no separate layer of varnish and that the paint and top coat are combined into one glossy paint?
For me HWE was the perfect balance between detail quality and price. The market has a big gap in it now. I have the HWE F12 in yellow and the BBR TDF in red. I only bought the BBR because no one else makes it. Even though is an amazing quality diecast I don't think i would pay £300 for all my diecasts. That's why the HWE at £100-150 was perfect.
I don't know if they don't put door windows anymore but my model dosent have em... and the writings on the tires either, it's a same model 1/18 burago but red
You took a well played with child's toy that was worth maybe $25, and transferred it into a collectible worth much more and worthy of a display case. Excellent work.
I find this very educational and this proves that a lot of detail has gone into the model. With detail like this, I don't mind the higher prices that the basic models from Maisto and Bburago which are more like toys in my opinion. I would like a 1/43 version of this one as they look nice.
Great brush work! What kind of brushes do you use? I’m having trouble finding good brushes. Also do you mix your paints with thinner for brushing? Thank you!
@@Aubrey_Bella37 height for sure, the black carbon version shouldnt have the italian flag on the sides and the white one is missing red stripes on the diffusor

@@LamMiniature your welcome, It depends on which Rosso Corsa version you are going to buy. The version with perforated grill is the version sold in China, I will soon review this particular model.
I sent back mine the day after, was a completely mess. The Richard Mille's decal smudged, some black paint on red livery and pitot's tube broken. And they call that thing "premium". Oh, and wanna talk about that front lights? Come on...just look how badly leds are painted.
@@lucamicalicapparelli4825 Sorry, you are right, I was wrong when writing. I use 0.2 for painting small details such as the wheels and interiors, 0.4 for the bodywork and 0.6 for applying the varnish
