Well, I'm glad that you're an actual "fan" of the character. I only purchased her because I'm into female warriors. Like Casca from Berserk, which I also have. I do not actually play the game, sorry, lol
Seville Classics, OR OTHER BRANDS, from Amazon or any Home Depot store. The grill design allows light to pass through all 4 sides. Reduces the casting of shadows as it's not a solid platform. In a rare case where you need the 4 wheels because you will be moving the shelf frequently, I highly recommended doubling up the bottom layers, using 2 shelves one inch apart, in order to make the entire thing more stable. Less likely to wabble.
Sideshow Captain Marvel Premium Format 1/4 Scale Statue, the original retail price was $630. My original piece broke, so I re-purchased the statue again on Ebay for about $780. Unfortunate bad luck that sometimes (maybe due to family members) you may have a figure that breaks by accident. The one "GOOD THING" is that this was replaceable on Ebay, and it didn't cost me much higher than the original retail. Sometimes you might try to replace a broken item, but the Ebay price will be extremely high. Only 600 pieces made, so contact me in a few weeks when I might sell the broken version on Ebay, if you want to fix it, and you'll get both the retail boxes, the outer and inner boxes.
OPM Studios Princess Mononoke Anime Miyazaki Series 004 Ghost Princess 1/6 Scale Statue. The small white ghost creatures *Glow In The Dark* when you shine a UV light on them. The glow in the dark effect lasts for about 15 to 20 minutes. It is NOT using any type of LED light source so it only lasts for a short period, 15 minutes. There is only 1 single (long lasting) LED light up feature, which is the water on the top of the base. The very bottom of the base does NOT have any light up effects.
Twilight Demon's Poetry Series Monster Bird 1/6 Scale Statue - Bizarreness in the Twilight. A great companion piece to the Figurama Claymore, or the upcoming Figurama Sirene, or even a Hellwitch 1/5 scale statue. Or just about any type of horror statues :) Try to be *Extremely Careful* during assembly as it's easy for a random piece to fall out of a loose joint. So try to be seated down at a kitchen table. Any safe position where the very fragile pieces will not fall to the floor!!!
***** Yeah, I understand making "short videos" to help the viewer save time. And it would help me to get more views. But I'm NOT here just to rack up a bunch of views, by showing off short videos. I take my time to tell you the intricate details, the tiny assembly problems, the tiny defects... things that other RU-vidrs do not talk about. Like check out my video about the bloody Claymore statue, I broke down every fine detail about that item!
Simple, using space that doesn't get used often. For example, I don't really use my living room, so I packed 80% of the statues into that space. Whenever I do use the big screen TV in there (with some surround speakers), most of the items are on-top of a stand that can be easily moved. My bedroom is the only problem as it's a cluster flock in there ;)
This is funny, I checked BigBadToyStore recently and they have on preorder coming out later in the year a NEW version which might have a more silver look on her body, Steelheart Toy Version.
Either way, even that assumption is a bit tricky. The animation of the 60 second intro has more details compared to the actual 20 minute episode. If I were to compare this figure to the 60 second intro, it's definitely not a one to one perfect match. Especially not the face.
LOL, don't hate on my short little video, it's mostly my personal opinion guys. I would rather wait for an actual die-cast series, and even if I would have to pay a higher premium ($90) I would rather do so for a *More Realistic Looking* product. As it is now, it has a very generic barbie doll, GI Joe, generic "meh" look. If this were still the year 2008, and this was selling for $25 then I would be very happy with it. But at $50, current year pricing, I can be picky on what I spend my money on!!!
A *Super Sexy* looking statue!!! It doesn't take up much space, at only 8 inches tall. The polystone material reflects light extremely well, so it looks best next to a window, next to a good light source. Towards the end of my video I have it displayed next to a creepy looking eye-ball figurine, that you might be able to find on www.bathandbodyworks.com if they still have any in stock. They both look very cool and creepy displayed together, where the giant eye-ball is staring at her sexy milky boobies, lmaooo.
Hi! Thanks for sharing. For Teresa, do you attach her cape to the main body before inserting onto the base? Or do you insert Teresa's main body onto the base first before attaching her cape? Thanks!
Sorry for the late reply.... I inserted the bodies of the two females, then the wings to support the weight of the cape, then the cape last ( I think ).
@@primemegatron22 Hey, no worries man! I am having trouble fitting Teresa together with her cape in. If I insert Teresa's body and Priscilla's right upper wing (the one for support) first, will Teresa's cape be blocked from attaching to Teresa's back?
@s w I don't remember exactly, but it was like a giant jigsaw puzzle. I eventually got everything to fit by trail and error. Perhaps, you have a piece sticking out at a slightly bad angle 🤔 Where the insertion joint isn't all the way in 🤔
@@primemegatron22 thanks,i ve laid hat on my figure but not pressed searching a joint, because afraid of breakages, but it stands well on her anyway and is stable. Thanks and congrats for your channel!
Picking this up next week, looks awesome 🤟🏻 FYI,your room is in major need of a make over, kinda messy and too cramped for any kind of appreciative display...just saying
I think this is the "only" 1/10 Iron Studios piece that I own. The others just don't impress me, especially with my collection being focused on 1/4 scale.
I strongly recommend getting a few color changing LED lights from Amazon, or other electronics retailers. The ones that I currently own use AA batteries, but I think it may be better to find ones that are USB powered, as changing batteries every two months can become annoying. Any statues with clear, translucent parts always look super amazing with added lighting. I also recently got the Kinetiquettes Chun Li 1/4 scale statue which has a clear power effect part. A clear wave, blue colored power wave. It looks fantastic with one of these small lights behind it, causing the blue wave effect to light up!!! And as shown in this Dark Phoenix video the entire Phoenix lights up very nicely a red color light added behind it.
Figurama does an amazing job with creating a "flow of motion". Like watching the anime in front of you, real life motion, happening in real life! Super amazing statue!
I don't mean to sound gross, but this thing is a *"wet dream"* for Horror fans and Gore fans!!! It's so sick and disgusting looking... but yet... also so beautiful and captivating. All at the same time. Do not be turned away just because it's advertised as 1/6 scale. With the 2 characters being elevated high up, on a super large size dynamic base, it has a massive presence that fits very well within a 1/4 collection. As I normally collect 1/4, this still matches well within my collection. Don't forget to check out the anime on bluray also #Ineedmore #MorePower
FACT = This version of Chun Li by *Kinetiquettes* is far better than any of the pervious versions that were created by *PCS!!!* I would even dare to say that it's even better than the *Prime1* version that is due to come out during the fall later this year. With this Kinetiquettes piece, her legs are very muscular and powerful looking, as they should accurately be, showing the massive amount of power within her legs!!! She has very unique "Glass Eyes" that are similar to the HMO brand. Her eyes are very glossy, and beautiful looking. Her hands, arms, and face are molded with a very unique material, that almost resembles silicon. It's a very unusual material that gives her skin tone are very fresh and unique look. In the video there is a King of Fighters character holding onto a large flying eagle, that character is Nakoruru by Piji Studios. It's a bit under-scaled, small in size, but it looks amazing when displayed next to this Chun Li. That one again is by Piji Studios.
So crazy, this cheap $150 figure, is almost as good as my statues that cost over $1000. They did a great job with multiple fine details, even her sharp teeth, fangs, are visible inside her mouth. It looks amazing next to the Tweeterhead Cheetah (Limited version with longer hair). As there is a comical look where Cheetah looks as though she is angry with Felicia and is trying to grab her. Also, it's a MUST HAVE Companion Piece if you own the HMO - Hand Made Object Statue version!!!
@@primemegatron22 either way beautiful piece though. Quality seems good. Might get it. Appreciate the review since you are the only one I have seen so far doing one.
Athena has 3 green gems on the hilt of her sword. Displayed next to a window, or a good light source, the 3 green gems have a very nice glowing effect. As mentioned in the video itself, I made some personal modifications using a tiny amount of super glue, to keep her RIGHT arm pointed more upwards. And to prevent her LEFT arm from falling out of the key slot!!!
*Freaking Awesome* Angelus statue!!! Looks fannn-tasss-tic next to the other statues within the Tow Cow line, but also next to other random gothic statues such as Sideshow's The Court of the Dead Shard. The 2nd version of Shard where she has two separate large swords, one sword in each hand. Displayed next to a window, the gems on her horns have a nice glowing effect.
Yeah, the statue world is becoming brutal when it comes to discrepancies between prototype and production. I’ve gotten some pretty bad Prime 1 statues in the past, so there really is no guarantee that the Prime 1 Vampirella will be any better. But we’ll see. Sucks that prices are going up and quality is going down. Even the amount of switch outs and portraits are becoming petty since the Prime 1 Vampirella doesn’t even come with any switchouts or alternate portraits for that price.
True, those are definitely valid points. For the high price the Prime1 version should be offered with switch outs. Especially remembering their Doom Slayer which had a million switch outs, although very expensive also.
That's partially why I was extra critical in my video. Knowing that there is extremely strong competition from Prime1, there is no excuse for pcs to not give a little extra effort. At least give the skulls in the base some red led lights, or a glow in the dark effect for her eyes, anything to make this piece unique and special!
A very highly detailed 6 inch figure. If you can find the original series from about 3 years ago, those are about 2 to 3 inches taller in height. Plus those original figures normally had a led light up feature on the chest or eyes. Just search for D4toys Ironman, or Sentinel toys Ironman.
Important Note: *The UPS package box was 81 pounds!!!* So try to be home on the schedule day of delivery, and maybe give your regular UPS guy a $$ money tip. Estimating that the outer and inner cardboard boxes and styrofoams are about 20 pounds, the statue itself fully assemble is likely 61 pounds. So be super careful about what type of shelf that you will use. So that it doesn't break and destroy your entire shelf, and in the process damage the statue itself.... Yikes. And you might need a family member to assist you in moving it..... Aside from the extreme weight issue, this is one FN Awsome, FN Grail Piece, Fantastic Looking Statue!!! I am super excited to own this magnificent XM statue. It will definitely grab attention when someone walks into the room :)
It’s strange too because I remember PCS stating that they were going to update the face but it never really happened. They just never really responded when collectors asked them on the FB group chat
Well I'm not familiar with the FB issue, but the statue does come with 2 different head portraits. A modern and an older classic. I surprisingly ended up liking the classic version, but it wasn't enough to make me keep the item.
The basic looking paint job was fine on their 1/5 scale sexy Beach Bikini Chun Lee, but on a large 1/3 scale item, it just looks a bit obvious. Again, if it were a loooooot cheaper in price, I wouldn't really complain as much.
PCS really needed an artist to give it "photorealistic" skin tone, skin texture. It's a nice looking statue, I'll admit that... but at $$$ I have to be more picky and judgmental.
I don't mean to be like one of those whinny little cry baby collectors ;) ....but at a pretty steep $900 retail price, plus extra for tax and ship, (you're spending over $1000) I was expecting much better quality with the paint-work. There is virtually NO shading, virtually NO shadow lines. Her skin complexion, her jewelry, and clothing lack a level of realism, *Photorealism.* If this were a lot cheaper in price, and perhaps smaller in size like 1/5 scale, then I might had given it a positive review. But at $900 retail, and a super large 1/3 size which draws your attention to the imperfections, I am not satisfied with the purchase. I notice that this is a *re-occurring issue with PCS* as I own their sexy beach bikini Chun Lee, and the PCS Ibuki in fighting stance. I was hoping that they would step their game up, and improve on the paint, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
This is what turned me away from PCS for a long time now. The poor paint quality is inexcusable on a 1/3 scale statue to begin with, but man I am sorry to see it’s like this. This seems like a rush job. PCS has been churning out mediocre statues lately and this is just yet another example. I have the Prime 1 on order, I figured that was the better choice.
Sorry, nothing to protect these prints. I just make sure that they are firmly secure when I place them on a wall. If you have kids around, just make sure to give rules to not touch with greasy fingers.
Well I honestly love most of the HD prints from Sideshow. But since this one has a unique background, swirling colors, I'd give it an extra point... so it would be an 11 out of 10!
